Watched the game from the 2nd quarter onwards, including the pivotal 3rd quarter where the Warriors pulled away on a big lead courtesy of consecutive 3 pointers from Stephen Jackson. Watta game for the Warriors and what a monumental collapse from the Mavs. Their 67win season has just gone down the drain.
I hope the Warriors beat the Jazz or Rockets and meet the Suns in the conference finals ... that will be some 3 point shootout hehe. Otoh, Warriors vs Spurs will probably be just as entertaining.

Why feel sorry for the guy? It was mostly his mediocre play in the series that led to their elimination. I give him praise for his performance in game 5, but he wasn't consistent in the whole series. Dirk = Playoffs Choker

LEBRON JAMES showed everyone in game five of the CAVS win over the PISTONS, that he's the heir to the air apparent 'Michael Jordan' by scoring the CAVS last 25 points in a win in double overtime... he scored 48 points, grabbed 9 boards and handed out 7 assists...
go CAVS!!!

SPURS - has the experience & knowledge..
CAVS - Thirsty for more than 30 years championship drought. Defense is the key of winning the game, Bowen will surely distaught & mangle LBJ.
But who knows, how LBJ will play this game? Or the supporting cast will resonate the another victory hmm?
I still go for CAVS.....

Cavs outhustled the Spurs on Game 3. They outrebounded the men in black and they got to the loose balls. They even handed out more assists. They defended Parker a whole lot better. They were aggressive and sent Duncan into early foul trouble. They made Ginobili disappear into bricking shots after shot. Unfortunately they also could not buy a basket. They shot 3-19 from the 3 point line (.158 and .367 overall) while Bruce Bowen and Brent Barry combined for 7-9. Lebron was aggressive but he missed crucial layups near the end of the game and he missed the buzzer beating three pointer (he was fouled on that one but the refs did not see it). In the end ... it's Spurs 75, Cavs 72. Spurs are on the verge of their 4th championship in 9 years ...

In Game 3, I think the Spurs just showed what it means to have "championship experience" - and what an advantage it really gives to a team. Even if most of the stats show they're behind, they still won this crucial game of the series.

Yeah, I think a better supporting cast would have given the Spurs a better run for their money, and I think could have brought the trophy to Cleveland...

(even wade was a dud!!!!!!!) Remember that it took Jordan 5 years to get to the Eastern Conference finals and 6 years to get to the Finals and win a championship. Lebron even made the eastern conference finals and the finals after 4 years in the NBA. Wade even won a championship after 3 years in the league. I'm not making a comparison between the two, but we must give them (Lebron, wade, and their team mates) time to mature. They may not have Jordan's skill at this point, but they sure are headed to that direction.

What? Are you gonna bring me to school, mate? What else do i need to know here? actually i got spurs in 4 but i just hope the cavs will win at least twice so the celebration is at home, and bowen and duncan are tougher for LBJ to do what he did to detroit, anyway he couldn't do that if B-Ben was still there. GO SPURS GO! But fellas, let's not jump ahead... The ball is round! It's not over until the fat lady sings!!!

They may not be as flashy as the American players, but you don’t get to see them in the news being caught with illegal firearms, drugs, and for domestic violence.

OT: I've always wondered what's the origin of the phrase "well it's not over tillthye fat lady sings"
Here it is...
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It ain't over till the fat lady sings (till is also spelled 'til) is a proverb, essentially meaning that one shouldn't assume the outcome of some activity (frequently a sports game) until it has actually finished.
It is a common expression in the theatre of North American sports. Attributed to writer/broadcaster Dan Cook, his original line was "The opera ain't over until the fat lady sings."[1] This occurred in April 1978, when he coined the phrase after the first basketball game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Washington Bullets (now the Washington Wizards) during the 1977-78 National Basketball Association playoffs, to illustrate that while the Spurs had won once, the series was not over yet. This refers to the impression that at the end of every opera an aria is sung by a fat woman dressed like a valkyrie.
