Good news for the fight fans! The US market will now know that there is heck of a lot more in 205 than Lidell and Fedor will get a chnce to plough through more heavyweights.
Not so good for the fighters. Since there will be a monopoly on big promotions, there won't be anywhere else to go for greener pastures when it comes to money offers. There will also be a lot of fighters in the current UFC roster who will be missing out on big fights unless they don't get walked over by the acquisitions from Pride like what Anderson Silva did.

Vera is in limbo. He should've signed up before Pride's acquisition so he will have a spot in grand scheme of things. But now, will UFC still sign him when it has a whole new roster of heavyweights to exploit. Maybe for much less money than he was originally offered. I hope he still makes it to the big show.

Aaargh! Crocop got dropped. Good RHK from the Jiujitsu guy. Now that mixes up the HW scene. I hope Mirko can rebound from this and make it to big fights again.

Crocop was overconfident , plus I think he's burned out mentally from all the years fighting parang si Wanderlai
On an interview When he won the pride gp , he said if he lost he would have retired already
Hopefully this embarassing loss would give him focus again
OTOH, Gonzaga wasnt scared and was able to execute his game plan though I doubt he planned that rhk.

He'll be back! Hopefully better than ever. He suffered a similar KO loss to Kevin Randleman. Although that means he can be knocked out when hit.
So up next is Gonzaga vs. Randy. I'm not too excited.
So who will Crocop be fighting to get back up, Big Nog? Hmmm... Now that sounds interesting.

 thats an upset.. I think Gonzaga just got lucky. Yeah , it was a lucky kick  crocop was even blocking his ribs But you also have to consider , it was gonzaga who was pushing the action since the start |
