pacman, being the great warrior he is, gave morales a good fight and didn't make it easy for him.
but the guy has spirit and firepower, but no solid punches....sus naman, sayang. give pacman a better coach, a few more fights and he can take that crown away next time.
but what a fight! you can't help but feel proud of the man from Gen San! ;D

i feel betrayed. Roach promised a new Manny from the JMM fight. Hogwash. Same old OD (one dimensional) Manny showed up. Too cocky. Why the hell does he have to raise his hands up whenever he gets tagged? Those things dont earn points in a fight. He gets hit way too much. I feel betrayed because they had all the time in the world to prepare yet Manny lacked a good defense. It was like a rerun of the JMM fight. I thought we were gonna witness the Manny who fought Barrera. It was the same feeling as from the JMM fight. "Let's wait for the next fight nalang." Honestly, if Manny was to fight with the same style again, we are gonna have the same result again. Haay. BUT PACMAN IS STILL DA MAN. Win or lose, Pacman pa rin.

Win or lose, Pacman pa rin. i guess no matter what training one was given the final assessment and decision to use them is still with the man on the ring..roach is a good trainer..manny is a good fighter... good and bad decisions were made..each fighter must capitalize on the mistakes made each other just like any other competivive sports..morales won because they have a fighter who made better assessments and decisions on that day.. learning never stops...next time na lang..pag magaling na yung sugat at bugbog.. ;D ;D ;D. the taste of defeat, no training can substitute for that |

PAcman has to improve his boxing skills,this is not a street fight.The 3 mexicans knows for sure how strong pacman is,so their not going to have a head on slug. match against our main man.
Boxing is also a chess match.so di lang brute force that matters,But manny has already most of the ingredients.so konting improvement nalang on his part.

more like face seeking missiles ;D ;D ;D what was amazing was when one of these landed, it was like waking up a hornets nest...pacman would come back w/ a flurry of punches hehehe. unfortunately, most of them missed and lacked power. the thing w/ too much speed in boxing, not as much power behind the punch....unless you're Mohammed Ali hehehe |

Despite Manny defeat to Erik yesterday  , he remains a hero to Filipinos.. He instilled in us the value of being proud to be a Filipino and for that, I consider him victorious. |

Let see if he use the Reyes glove would you think morales got knockdown or knockout on the 12 round?  . Big controversy on the glove before the fight. He usually used Reyes gloves in the last five fights with less padding. Since Murad sign the contract without asking Manny or Roach about the gloves he used a less padding gloves. The promoter of Morales (Arum) his like Don King, he always find a way to get advantage and most of his fighter hardly loss to a decision. But this on hand off to Morales he really prepared this fight and study the Pacman and Marquez fight. Prediction: Bararra VS Pacman 2 |

It is really sad that Manny lost, I guess the cut he suffered on the 5th round bothered him so much.
I think Morales capitalized on the cut and jabbed it during the fight. If it was not for the cut I think the outcome would have been different.
Morales is a great fighter, but I noticed that his legs were wobbly on the 12th round when he decided to go toe to toe with Manny. The fight showed us how great boxing is.
Manny showed what a real champion he is by giving us one hell of a show. Even bloodied and with only one eye to see with he fought like a lion!
Filipinos were ready to celebrate in the streets, sayang!
I hope to see a rematch ;D

i think manny lost bec. of over confidence,naging mayabang cya after the fight wid barrera he thinks he can conquer all ! may cnabi pa cya kahit cno fighter basta same weight fight daw ;D,tapos under esimate nya pa morales he even predict he will finish morales on the 7th round,see what happen ;D next tym be humble coz god listen prayers sa person n karapat dapat ;D remember they both pray to win for the fight pero it seems morales prayers was given granted by our lord almighty! |
