Congrats Spurs fans! Question.... Duncan finals MVP, why not Ginobili? Well I guess its his overall presence that counts most. Its him, with three defenders on him, who passed to Ginobili and hit that crucial 3-pointer. Just my opinion. Hurray for SPURS!!!

IMO, Duncan deserves the Finals MVP. he made the 3rd Qtr run when the Pistons were on a roll and had their biggest lead, plus he was consistent. Kudos to Duncan and the Spurs for their well-deserved win.

Its the playoffs!
I predict the Pistons to be overall champs. I also think there will be a couple of upsets like Sacramento will beat Spurs, Lakers over Suns and Wizzards over the Cavaliers...

in a sudden turn of event, the topseeded spurs are now facing second-round elimination from the 4th seeded mavericks. meanwhile in the other side, the lebron-led cavs have evened the series by snatching a 2-game straight from the heavily-favored pistons. But the badboys of michigan are still poised to win game 5 when it shifts to auburn hills on May 17. have you revised your predictions already?

In an astounding display of basketball prowess, lebron and the cavaliers almost made a complete turnaround from an 0-2 deficit to snatching the series from the pistons. But in the end, the pistons showed time and again how great defense makes big difference. They joined the 1998 chicago bulls by limiting their opponents halftime score to just 23 points. The lowest in nba playoff history. The pistons moved to the eastern conference finals facing last year's similar opponent, the miami heat. Last season, from a 3-2 deficit the pistons subdued the heat to move to the championship only to bow in a close match to the san antonio spurs. Meanwhile in the west, the mavericks' bid for the finals is in peril when the spurs emerged as the winner of another closely-contested game 6. Game 7 will be played tomorrow in san antonio. Another exciting game 7 follows between the suns and the clippers in arizona. still looks like another spurs-pistons encounter wat ya think?

please no. not another boring series. my hopes have already been dampened. miami is in the east finals, so is detroit. i doubt that phoenix will make it. clippers don't have enough big game players aside from casell to make it interesting. as for dallas, all i can say is
CHOKE CHOKE CHOKE CHOKE!

boring? surely the pistons dont have a superstar to carry the team on his own (i didnt mention kobe ) but they have at least 5 players who make double digit points in every game which make them a more complete team. btw, the spurs have been defeated in their own turf. seems the mavs have what it take to be the conference champs. so pistons-mavs, heat-mavs either way will still be exciting. and hey, didnt you see how elton brand of the clippers play?
