jr, i feel for you man. the nets got booted out by the pistons too remember? not saying that the pistons will win it all but it's a possibility considering they beat the pacers as well! and surprise of all surprises... they won game 1 in LA to boot! that's what i meant when i said: the lakers are the favorites to win it all but i still pick the pistons since i have a lotta respect for them for beating the nets and pacers... plus... THEIR FROM THE EAST!!! GO EAST!

Actually that should be the game plan for the lakers by attacking the basket. Everybody wonder the way they play Looks like they don't have a desire since they defeat the Spurs.

yep, LA needs to get back homecourt adv. they'll come fighting in game 4 for sure.
that's what the nets did when down 0-2 -- they made a great comeback. unfortunately, the pistons' defense really tires out the beejeezu$ out of the players. see what happened to the nets.
don't forget that the pistons have a deep bench and so can put up with that stifling defense all game long.
so.... go EAST! ;D ;D ;D

there you have it folks! PISTONS WIN 88-80!!! they're now up 3-1.   it should've been a SWEEP if LA didn't get lucky in game 2!!! yes, you've read it right. the PISTONS should've SWEPT the LAKERS! who would've thought that a week ago, eh? you did mean, the Lakers go home with the PISTONS celebrating in Michigan in 5 games, right? j/k pre! pero that's not a remote possibility at this point in time. ;D  GO EAST!!!

This series reminds us of Chicago Bulls, first time they beat Lakers in championship. I thought it will be Lakers again because they have lots of high caliber player though they are older. But Detroit has young players and a deep bench that go the extra mile. Looks like next year we'll have a more interesting NBA playoff.

Defense win championship. I feel bad with Malone, he came to L.A to get a ring but didn't happen. I'm hoping he come back next year with KOBE, Fisher and Shaq.
