Alam nyo ba na most of the computer parts we buy today are guarateed for at least 3 years (seagate harddisk have a 5 year warranty). Kaya lang nagiging 1 year dito sa atin para iwas obligation yung mga seller.

Ano binabayaran sa branded PC? Eh di support and warranty. yeah, pero ibang clone makers give at least 1 yr on parts, and some also provide original software na that's rite sir, bottomline u get more bang 4 d buck when u go clone ...

if you live somewhere in north america or europe probably youll be better off with a branded pc ie dell desktop @ $650 with oem windows, here it is unusual for a clone pc buyer to buy a legit windows software.

If you really want to save on your computers, don't want to pay the license for Windows XP, Word, Excel, etc and also don't want pirated software I suggest you install Linux with OpenOffice.
BTW. When you are buying the license for Windows XP, Word, Excel, etc you still have to renew it after a specified amount of time.

yup mabuhay ang open source at linux mabuhay ang Mozilla, Opera at lahat ng freeware
BTW best place to shop for computer stuff is near St. Paul Q.C. which is along gilmore ave. corner Aurora Blvd.
Among shops are
PC express, PC Options, Gilmore, PC Corner, CDR-King dami-dami dami
tapos when your hungry there's got great food too.
Shakey's Pizza Hut 2 Chinese restaurants, 2 hotdog and fishball vendors
To burn those calories pagka kain there's
A cool gym at the 4th floor or ride your bike home.
Sarap sana tumira doon.

gilmore is the best place to buy pc's and pc parts.... every store will try to outmatch others... and as much as possible, try to go to clones... much cheaper and easy to upgrade... and also stuffs inside branded pc's comes from different brands as well... the two things that you buy from a branded pc are licensed OS and a 3 year warranty... FYI

i've used clones and brandeds from the first IBM PC onward and if you know your specs and are willing to do a little research, it's better to assemble a PC from select components. of course, if you're talking about servers, that's a different matter altogether
