24/7 pinoprotesta daw ng smart at globe?
Well they suck for doing that!
I think they should shut up and magbaba na lang sila ng presyo kung gusto nila mamaintain ang market share!
Kailan kaya mangyayari ito sa gasolina? hhehehehehe
DOWN WITH GLOBE AND SMART!!!! THEY SUCK!

I think unfair ang ginagawa nila. Di daw fair ang competition sa prices, they're demanding that Sun raise their call charges to 5.50Php/min as compared sa 4.50/min ng Globe and Smart.

what's funny is, if you open any major broadsheet, you'd see several full-page ads of either SMART or Globe. on any given day. dehins lang isang ad ha. i'm guessing a full-page full-color ad in a major daily now is around 100K. if they can afford that, ba't dehins na lang nila i-channel sa customer service yun, either to make their services more efficient, or cheaper, matutuwa pa ang subscribers.

May kalayaan tayong mamimili.

leche yang smart na yan! binwiset at inubos ang pasensya ko very recently! hanggang ngayon actually. i lost my cellphone almost three weeks ago so i promptly applied for a new line (was using a prepaid handset before) in the Smart wireless center at SM North it took them two da*n weeks before they issued me a new unit! what really pissed me off is that 1.5 weeks after submitting my application form and other requirements, i discovered that the docs didn't actually left the table of the sales people there. and they were giving me at least three different reasons..and lame ones at that. their hotline/contact nos either don't work or no one bothers to answer. they don't maintain a line of communication for feedback or whatever. they don't provide a comprehensive briefing to the customer, omitting or neglecting to say that so and so document or ID is needed until it's too late and so on. i had to drop by their store much more than necessary and in the process lost my wallet last week! bottomline they don't treat the customers right. so Ok i finally got the handset 1 week and six days later (when others could get it half the time or even on the same day!) i thought twas the end of my hassles and it's happily ever after right? WRONG! almost two days after getting my unit, my sim is yet to be activated - it's way beyond the 24 hour period. i've talked with two of their 'customer assistance' agents and while they TRIED to be helpful, they had to refer me to their tech help coz its beyond their expertise and asked me to wait for another 24 hours. WTF?!! So here i am playing the waiting game, seething with frustration. should've switched to Sun or Globe instead. what sucks is that i'm a smart user the past seven or eight years. guess i'm not quite smart in my choices huh? i am really f*kin pissed off sorry... end of rant

did you say customer service? try calling Sun's customer service hotline and try the option "to talk to an officer". wala ring sumasagot. so far, i have NEVER yet spoken to a Sun representative.
sa Globe, dehins rin sila efficient, although if you hang on the line (like, 6 minutes) eventually someone will pick up. i guess it pays to be desperate. but go to any Globe business center, the lines are so long. it's like that everyday. if they really care about their customers, they would at least do something to reduce those lines, no?

Freedom of enterprise............ Tama ang Sun sa postion nila. Globe and Smart should lower their price para naman mag benefit ang marami. And yung load, dati 100 is good or valid for 30 days, now only 15 days.. Actually, Im using globe post paid account and im not satisfied with their billing parang may PPA like meralco iniba lang yung term...
Globe and smart should give a free text for evry load wala na kasi ngayon......

For me kahit mahirap tumawag sulit pa din! They suck bigtime!

who gives a siyet about about talking to a representative hayyy, minsan kasi kailangan, pag may tanong/reklamo ka sa bill, o kelangan mo magpa-roaming. at saka sign yan ng isang maayos na kumpanya, how willing and how well they engage the customer (if they can't even take care of that...) teka, wala na bang free text for pre-paid loading ang SMART at globe? ngek! ang daya nga.

I had my share of bad experiences, particularly with sun. they have this sim card called sure load. upon activating, you're supposed to have 150 worth of load every month for one year. the simcard cost me 500. the first month was groovy but after that, its goodbye, good riddance. i tried calling sun cellular's customer care, all i heard on the line was the song by hoobastank and other topsellers as well. bottom line, other than the having no signal, sun overall sucks! even bought 2 of those simcards!

talking about unfair practices.....
any of you remember that globe used to have a similar promo waaaaaayyyy long ago? dati ang kanilang text sa kapwa Globe ay libre... ngayon lang naman naningil ang mga yan.
so i suppose that it is ok for them to use this promo... but not for someone else who just started?
di ako kuma kampi but globe also used to have or maybe still have sucky services just about the same troubles that sun is going through now... again ngayon ngayon lang na increase ng both globe and smart ang kanilang cell sites, stronger transmitters.. etc etc.
talk about the talankang garapal mentality
ooh and i am a globe prepaid user nga pala.... if you ask me.... they still charge too much. piso per text... thats a lot o bull

After a short stint w/ Piltels CDMA service...I tried Smart...less than a year later, I gave up on Smart as well...due to a similar experience that stormloader went through...and messy billing...and lousy customer tracking. Then I moved to Globe...a lot better service as far as I could see. Have been w/ Globe for almost 7 years na. Have tried pre-paid service w/ both companies, and both suck...mahal at hassle pag naubusan Considered Sun, but even a Gokongwei I used to know carries a Globe phone apart from his mandated Sun...dahil infant stage pa lang talaga ang Sun at dami pang pagkukulang. Give it another 2 years and will try it myself then. But whichever company you use, I think they all have strengths & weaknesses (Globe-best service, Smart-most transmitters and in far-flung areas, Sun-d@mn cheap promo deals) love-hate relationship ang cell service para sa akin

sounds like more competition is needed. if sun becomes a threat and starts to take subscribers from smart and globe, then the big players will have to step up their customer service. the duopoly that smart and globe enjoys will have to be broken.
I was happy with my globe service for the short time i was in Phils, but when I returned to the U.S. and tried to get my international roaming activated it was a nightmare... 3 weeks, 4 international phone calls to customer service, then I had to fax my documents twice, before I got the service.
We had four major players here in the U.S. and competition keeps them honest. Two of them just merged, hopefully that doesn't mean customer service will disappear. Unfortunately, it takes a negative effect on a company's bottom line before they will listen to their customers.

ako mga 4 yrs na akong naka globe postpaid..nagkaka problema lang ako pag di ko nabayaran yung bills ko ;D ;D isang beses lang akong nainis. nung binili ko yung plan 300 yata free txt ko. after a year naging 135 free txt na lang. dehins ko alam na pwede pala nilang gawin yun. dehins ba parang breach of contract yun? bumili ako ng plan knowing na yun ang nasa contract. wala rin nagawa yung mga nag rally. tapos nakalagay pa pag gusto mo i-terminate bef a year magbabayad ka ng 10k.. other than that, hapi ako sa globe...
