After two long months of waiting.......Steel Deluxe 29'er SS was avaialable for pick up.
Built her up and took her for a dip last saturday. It was definitely worth the two month wait.......
The combination of steel, 29" wheels, and the personalized geometry blended together perfectly. Can't wait for the next ride!
Thanks Goyo!!

that needs a good topping of mud and dust hehe Indeed it does....... You riding Saturday or Sunday? One of the great things about most SS's: SS = less components = less to clean = easier to clean

I was on my 26" using 34t/17t. Both times I got up faster than on my geared but both times also I couldn't move my body for two days after...... Fire roads aren't bad at all. There are a couple of short steep climbs on dirt. The killer is the 3km of cement right before reaching the main tagaytay road that leads up to the palace...... The first time I tried it, I cleared it without stopping from the bottom. The second time I tried it, I got off and walked the last 30 meters of the killer portion on cement (There's a portion of cement that's about 300m straight up, narrower than the wall, and as steep as the steepest part of "the wall" in Maarat. You can't even zigzag it.) It's worth trying it at least once. It's actually a nice relaxing ride for most of the ride.

I'd be dead 1/4th of what he can ride palang ;D reverse Upak then, boySS But I do want to try reverse palace someday..relaxed pace and hopefully the day s not too hot when it happens Thanks, JM
