Just want to share what local Surly distributor emailed....fyi lang
Karate Monkey 29'er frame with fork available in size from 16" - 22" with increments of 2", colors Husker Blue and Dark Black at Php 23,000.00
Instigator Frame 26" sizes 14"- 20" with increments of 2", color red rocket at Php 19,000.00
1x1 Frame with fork sizes 14-20" with increments of 2" color cash black at Php 16,000.00

Might as well stock up on SS cogs and SS chainrings, I'm sure YKK can bring those in.

yeah, i'd like to have to have one of those wide-base cogs. will they be available? you can convert any frame to singlespeed but it's hard to find quality cogs and rings.  |

I just bought one from Ross (ordered from YKK). I believe it's the last 20T they have. I don't know if they have the 16T or 18T left.
Bought it for 780.

arrrgh! i should call ross tomorrow! i want an 18T surly cog ;D
i agree with king and agu, chain rings and cogs. it would be nice if lbs have these readilly available. mary bars and H bars, or bars that offer comfort (wide and sweeping) are also nice.

yes YKK is official importer...
Will relay your requests regarding cogs/rings to them...

Actually Bontrager and Salsa have wide-sweep flat bars. It's just a matter of letting the distributors know I guess, so they can order them. Surly has the Torsion Bar, which is another wide-sweep flattie. |
