hi guys, let me know if you're interested in getting a mary bar, i was able to bring it in for goodboybrionne and bikedaddy at a more attractive price. just send me a private message (pm) ________________________________ i just found out that you can get the mary bar from Sabak at the price i'm offering but they may not have stocks anymore. that maybe ironic but i believe it's temporary since they can replenish their stocks. ask them na lang, my advice is to get them from Sabak first cos it's less hassle, the product is already there , etc. if however you are still interested: -i will also try to bring in on-one stems, feegle bar, and other on-one bits and pieces -price and availability will be posted in our trade section as soon as I get them -i will require a 50% deposit -availability will be 2nd week November thanks for your interest!

-deal is off if we can't reach 5 pcs., individual orders will be entertained, price: php 2,800

neat. Guys, just remember the setup tips in the other thread. Be patient with Mary if you don't hit it off right away...I'll never go back to straight bars and risers after spending time with my Mary

had the mary bar i got from owen installed on my geared hardtail and got to try it for some rides. my experience is that it's really really comfortable! it works as advertised! the bend, sweep and the rise puts the hand at a natural position. had 4 other people try out my bike and they too had only good things to say about the mary bar. i like it so much that i'm ordering another one from owen ( i hope he still has stock!) now i can relate why some people who have tried it swear by it. using regular riser bars now feels "unnatural and weird".

a word of caution though... trying out the mary bar on your bike you'd most likely need new cables since the bend and wideness of the bar necessitates longer than "usual" flat/riser bar length cables. this small issue waaaay outweighs the fun and benefits of using this bar. btw, bought the last mary bar stock from owen just now. (MB#8 from the 8 pcs he brought in). next time he brings some more in, don't think, just buy. hehe

a few months ago i put together my first SS, a surly 1x1. great fun! the other week i threw in a mary to try and complete my SS experience. she's amazing! the position is so much more comfortable as it has a more natural angling for the hands, arms and shoulders. this compared to the usual cross-country FS handlebars. i notice the difference even more when i stand and pull on her from side to side.
now i'm just mustering the courage to actually take shirley (ie my surly, that is) on the trails. i've been riding FS the last few years and so i'm still psyching myself for this new ball-busting challenge. i'm afraid of ending up on my dentist's chair to have all my fillings replaced. for now i'm content riding shirley around blue ridge at 5am on weekdays and my FS on the trails on weekends.
mary moo, soon enough!
