Hi Guys, This was a ride to break-in Mrs. Galvinchie (Techie) in the realm of trail biking. Although this wasn't much of an honest to goodness trail, the San Carlos Antenna and Petroglyphs in Binangonan offered a good start for Galvinchie and Techie's 1st "outside UP and Balara" Ride. Joining the ride was myself, Husky and Mrs. Rexman. Not in picture are Gary and Rexman kasi di sila sumama... he he he. The ride started off from Greenwoods and took the usual road en route to Sand Carlos via dumpsite to avoid Taytay hiway pollution. The group ready to ride just before leaving Greenwoods. Mrs. Rexman, Husky, Techie and Galvinchie. Techie taking her 1st ever high incline (this is the first road incline up the antenna). Galvinchie pacing her and giving her moral support. Yehey! The group all smiles after clearing the first incline. Dont rest too much, there are still a good amount of inclines to conquer. Husky, showing how its done. Here's how to take it easy and enjoy the scenery. ala mountaineers.... During our break, we were greeted by the natives and treated to a local version of the Famingo Dance.... This dance reached a climax with the dancers showing off their threesome position of ecstacy. come to think of it, this might not have been the flamingo dance... he he he At last, we reached the antenna. Techie and Galvinchie savoring the moment. Hey wait! We all reached the top too you know. Techie, all concentration as she tackles the single track going down the antenna to Eastridge. Galvinchie close behind. Husky... thinking about lunch perhaps... Mrs. Rexman. We can see who really is enjoying this ride. Or perhaps thinking of Rexman.... Wait - bakit masaya? A view of the eastridge side. Group shot. You see, I was also part of this ride. Mrs. Rexman didn't want to leave without her solo pose at the "Dambuhalang Bato". If NVP has his "tart", I have my "Krispy Kreme"... usually taken with sprinkles and Bavarian Kreme ;D Techie and Galvinchie at the cave. Close encounters of the fourth kind? Love this shot. The boys, just fooling around. The girls, wanting to take a dip. Hope you enjoyed the ride and the shots. Till next time.... Ride E.C.

Great Norman, Finally hitting the trails with your beloved wife That was very patient and methodical of you for slowly training her around UP for fitness and coordination before hitting the trails. Be careful though, or you might have somebody who will upgrade faster than you or ride faster than you ;D Thanks for sharing!

Mabuhay ang mag-asawang siklista (long live the riding couples). I hope E.C.rider learned some moves from those turkeys. Two male turkeys on top of one female = gang rape.

Rexman - thats not too far ahead. Mrs. Rexman was leading the group all the way. Good job in training her. As you can see in th pics, she enjoys even the downhill portions.
Gary - dont worry, got a lot of tips. Aside from the pics I took, I also took a video of the dance. Will show you soon.... ha ha ha
Alphabot - "ride together" ----- YES. this has bneen the case for some time now. Most of my rides have now been with my wife so she is getting better. Hopefully, we can do some more daring and perhaps century rides pretty soon.
See you guys on the trails...
Ride E.C.

Whoa! Ganda naman Kits! Thanks to you, Lizz't, and Beth for hosting the ride ha. Sarap din pala ng brunch you prepared. It was just too much of you guys. Techie really enjoyed her very first trail. Heto, nagging me when's the next time. I might bring her to Maarat one of this days para ma-experience naman yung "Wall" and to have a more uphill practice.
Sir Edgar (Enzo), Thank you also for the pointers you gave during our last meeting ha. In fact, that's the thing that she does whenever we're in UP. I guess, nag-sawa na kaya she planned the ride with Kits and the rest to Petroglyphs.
Hey Papa Rex! Sayang you're not there. Beth's such a strong rider na pala lalo na sa mga long stretch. Saya ng company Sir. Next time tayong lahat ha.
Bob! You should've been there. Pictures and words are not enought to describe what we saw and went through. There'll be other days pa naman eh.
Kaw Ed ha, you're a miss with the group. La Mesa daw kayo with Sir Noel (NVP) and the rest. Lakas (Halimaw) mo na talaga siguro? I guess that explains you really trimmed down.
Hey Pastor E.! It's been a while na rin since we biked in UP. What's up? I heard you're leaving? For good or vacation?
Sir Arnel (Alphabolt)! It took 6 years of convincing and a good bike for Techie to join in with the sport. It really paid off and she's VERY happy showwing off the pictures and stories to her barkadas.
Pssst Tim! You said it man. What was meant for MY bike, can be found on her's.
Bullseye there Coy. She's actually reading on my old issues kaya the sport is growing in her as fast as her learning. She now knows brands and parts. In fact, she prefers Sram than Shimano. hehehe
Thanks Sir Noel (NVP). We've already met once sa Giant when you took your wife Jude on her very first maiden ride at Maarat. I was with Kits and Ed as well then when we were on our way to Wawa.
Sir Ten, thank you and hoping to ride with you soon.
Sir DYN0888, thanks as well for your remark. You're also from Greenwoods?
