It was overwhelming happiness brad! He's learning fast. Was surprise he's able to tackle a downhill portion full of ruts, and worked with his brakes well. That was his 1st time taste of a downhill too. Unfortunately I was not able to take a shot of it. Thanks sir TOFI.

congrats xtreme! riding trails with your son brings a different level of excitement and most often comes with unexplainable fears and hesitations. be safe and enjoy exploring the outdoors with your young ones.

xtreme, I think your son deserves a PinoyMTBiker jersey.. hehehehe.... would be cool to see father and son with same jersey... (no, not plugging the jersey, although edlee would like it..)
For the bike washing: Like father like sons. i guess they saw you how you've taken good care of your bike so they imitated you (washing your bike)...
kids are like sponge... whatever you do, they will imitate and will love it because their number one man in their life if their dad.. (just wait till their teenagers and their number one person in their life are their gf's.. hehehe ;D) So cherish this moment!

Thanks so much kadag and harry. Thanks for those inspiring words too. Sir Paul, need to mention the jersey...I've downloaded the new black design and my son saw it. Reaction??? He wants his own too. Hehehe. On the next batch of orders surely I will have one for him. You're right sir, riding with the same jersey would be cool. Time is indeed so fast, so as much as I can I want to enjoy this moment with them. Watch them grow and let them enjoy the fun of mountain biking, a cool and healthy way of living. Thanks so much brad's. Go ride with your sons or daughters. It would be a another level of happiness. Ride safe!

Hi Extreme,
I'm a father too. And I know how it feels - just cherish the moment because before you know it they are bigger than you already. But then, I wish that they would still be biking with you.
Have a safe ride with your sons always....

Awesome! Like you, I have two young boys; my oldest (4) just started riding without training wheels last November and that was huge for me. He's riding well on the pavement and grunts on the grass so it'll be a couple more years till he's on the trail with papa. I can't wait to have that same feeling that you have when you're riding together with your son on the trails! My youngest just turned two and is going through the motions on his trike. Thanks for sharing and be sure to post when your younger son rides! Ride on!

@ dorightwoman - thanks for viewing maam. @ tkbiker - Thanks sir. Couple of years from now you'll surely be riding with them. And that's an extraordinary feeling having them with you on the trail. As for my youngest he's having his fun time on his bike with training wheels. Just have to wait a bit more and I'm pretty sure he'll be riding on his own. As soon as he takes control, I'll have posted here. Thanks again sir and ride safe.
