lito the accomplice is also amazing, hes a true friend ,eh?, bata pa daw friends na sila. he did a lot for nuel obviously. id like to do something for him too, hes a newspaperguy i noticed, kung kaya id like to subscribe from him daily newspaper delivery to fairview. thats one of the main things i noticed in that turn-over event, the friendship between the two guys. nuel is really blessed to have a friend in lito and benefactors (ninongs) in PinoyMTBiker!! MABUHAY kayong lahat !!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!Talk about a guy who wants to return the sponsored registratiom fee and shared his prize winning to Nuel Any second hand front suspension out there so we can at least make him more competetive in future races? The rigid fork he is using on his bike cost him the first place.

A second hand fork and frame that match is a good start. This time for Lito. Who's in?

well heres lito who helps a fellow biker in need when he himself needs all the help he can get.
lito really deserves as much as nuel, seldom one finds a true friend, its easy to make friendship with a hundred but sometimes its rare to find a true one. i experienced having so many friends before and i was blessed with a circumstance when the true one stood up for me when the rest seems to suddenly disappear... yes for that reason alone COUNT ME IN...

I posted this in the 12Hr race in Filinvest 15 Dec 2007 thread: A side note... I saw Lito Glinogo (2nd placer and Alibangbang's friend and my co-conspirator on the EA surprise) and Alibangbang today.
It seems that EA couldn't ride as much because he was still getting used to the bike. He said his shifting was off and he needs to get used to the handling, never the less, he completed 58 laps.
Lito Glinogo on the other hand was leading Dan Dan by 2 laps before the darkness set in. Lito was using a fully rigid bike for the event. The guys on full-sus were complaining about the washboards...I can only imagine what Lito went through.
Anyway by around 7pm he was already cramping in his hands and he was slowing down (for sure this was due to no suspension upfront). Dan Dan passed him, he says around 7pm and took the lead. Dandan was even able to increse that lead to 2 laps in the last 3 hours. Lito made 60 laps and Dan made 62.
Prize money was 2k for the 2nd plce and no cash price for the 3rd, Lito was gracious enough to share his prize money with his friend EA. Galing ng pagkakaibigan nila!
Here's the kicker to the whole story...they pedaled all the way back home to Cogeo from the race site. They said they got home at 2am.
One more note nga pala! Sunday morning these two guys borrowed road bikes and joined the regular Sunday race around the Quezon memorial circle yesterday afternoon! They won a little prize money din daw. HALIMAW TALAGA!!!!
Told both of them that in whatever races PinoyMTBiker is present they can hang out in the PinoyMTBiker tent and we will give them support. It seems these two guys are real team mates in all the competitions they join. I gave Lito an RST fork last Sunday when we saw eachother, but its not a real good fork. A XCP would be better. I can also chip in cash for this project. He says his head tube is over sized so no problem there.

I have an old marzocchi bomber fork (circa '97 I think) with a 1" steerer that I took off my hardtail. Its in good enough condition, though the elastomers may need to be changed. Think this might work?

Think this might work? Guys, Victor is on the money here...we need a 1" inch steer tube fork for Lito's bike victor, I can have that fork check by my mech friend Bong L. If it s ok pa or I can have it fixed then Im sure that will do pls PM how we ll meet or maybe you can leave it at Powerbikes in my name pls?

Arnel, oversized ang headtube ng frame ni Lito. I asked him. we have to confirm it, i saw his bike and i think 1 inch steerer nga, and eventhough the fork will fit, it will mess up the bikes geometry
