Guys, another mtb destination Take a look at Cagayan North- www.cagayannorth.phthey have the largest river - Rio Grande pwede mag white water dami caves, at 16th century churches Mura lobster at san mig light Pero what's really interesting are the islands Looks like a great explo ride , parang island sa jurassic park , may single track , hill climbs, estuaries tapos white beach Anguib beach is panalo We raced ( aquathlon )sa Palaui Island , unspoiled it had wild carabaos roaming around. Panalo pa rin yung location Here's the race and Palaui island : asia.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/doboltap/album?.dir=/eb72scd&.src=phThe Aquathlon was hosted by Cagayan LGU's, libre lahat Maybe they can host one for mtbikers , since we're the ones who really travel a lot 12 hours by bus or an hour by airphil accomodations sa CEZA ( cagayan economic zone auth ) is 600 per a night and 900 for the suites I'll be back later this year w/ my bike

what's wrong w/ rain? I love riding/running in the rain, especially when there is san mig light and frsh lobsters after the place is great for a bike vacation lalo kung road bike Roads are long flat, undamaged , and very few vehicular traffic

I almost stayed there for a month and always coming back..... the place is only good during summer..... and it is so boring during the rainy season.... it could rain here for more than a week non-stop.... and normal rain is like signal no. 1 rain in manila..... anyway check out the place.... esp cape engano at palaui island.... and also camuigin island..... there are also lots of trails for mtb there you go again garry! always going to far-flung places. CIA agent ka ba? ;D my sights are set northwards lately. after a long weekend in ifugao, i want to spend more time there, and all over mt. province. someone was just telling me about cagayan, and aurora. so much to do so little time...

I was there during their "lang-ay festival" or their local wine fest.... sarap ng mga wine nila.... ;D
