Thanks. I was just using a sony digital camera model DSC-V1 to take the pics. I bought it 2 or 3 years ago at around $400. Its already a discontinued model so it may be a lot cheaper now if you find one in the market.

trailhead sign shows "Park Closes at Dusk", is that a sanctioned ride? ;D the closest trail to where i work, which would've been perfect for after ofc night rides is off limits after dark and our local mtb advocacy group is very strict about it. uptight members will call you on it. even the folks that live near the park would call the cops on you you can get ticketed and your bike will be impounded. is night riding legal in nj?

BXC, the answer is no to both your questions. We hardly ride at night . We only do it whenever we can't ride during the day.
P-JHAY, the lefty fork is great! No flex at all. I highly recommend it.

Poseur: Yeah, our local mtb advocacy group is so anal about it but they have all the right to be since they've worked hard to gain trail access for all mtbikers and they've worked hard to maintain these trails. Also, the National Park Service is just covering their asses for liability. You know how americans will sue anyone for anything. We have one park here that can be legally ridden at night, all other parks can only be ridden at night with a permit (monitored group rides). Of course on the street, you can ride whenever.
DirtyHairy: My buddies and I are also guilty of poaching our favorite trail. We had a blast but thought it wasn't worth the risk.
Happy trails.

Wow. I guess we are a bit luckier here. Although it is illegal to ride at night here, it is not actively enforced. The place we go to is friendly to mountainbikers. We have seen cops in the parking lot many times but they never stopped us from riding at night. The only time we were stopped was when hunting season was on.
