Hi Ian did you get you bike fixed? Heard some talk bout your brakes(magura), bad performance was cause was the lever? Thats what I heard from the bikeshop just hearsay. Anyway I hope you get it fixed. hey pat, I've read on one topic here that you run two (2) tubes on rear...How's that possible? Its actually an outer layer of tube cut in the middle....I suggest just get a 3" DH tube. It weighs a lot less Ii guess

No pat it was not my lever. The guy in velocity bleeded my break but the break didn't work. So he thought that it was my lever, he started to dismantle it and he didn't find anything... Then he bleeded again and we noticed that actually there were many bubles in the cables ... After the 3rd bleeding my brake worked well so it means that the lever was not the problem. Now i'm looking for magura blood to bleed my brake by myself but i can't find it, so no my bike is not fixed yet ...

I wanted to use only Magura blood as the website of magura advice it but i think i'll just use any mineral oil for car because it'ß much more cheap and Magura blood is too hard to find.... I heared about LHM but actually i'm looking for any mineral oil, any brand... at the moment that i can ride again...

The lighter the viscosity the better. Baby oil is also an alternative like Joey's Maggies ,, but i suggest using the Lite one

Actually the problem there would be the slow reaction of brakes (on and off)

I don't really want to use mineral oil from drugstore because there are made from plants... I want at least a mineral oil created for car... do you know where it can be find ? Because i think most of the car use DOT3... Do you know if the shimano mineral oil can be used in my brake, is it hard to find ?

BTW as of Ian's posting magura blood is not available at Dan's
...but I will go with heatsink's post on the baby oil and suggest J&J's Baby oil lite. If ever I will need to rebleed mine, I will just buy lots of baby oil and drown the brakes in oil, open the bleeding holes and pump away and close the bleed holes hehe.
