if it's around P500 it's definitely a good buy. if it's P75,000, dude, you could get an FS at that price.
KHS is a good brand. but the component specs are..well entry level. you might end up spending more for the upgrades if you're going to use this for DJ. If you're doing UA, the parts are good enough to the point that it can be broken without hurting the wallet.

IMHO:
Maybe you want to know if the bike build is ok without considering the price...
I am not a KHS fan in terms of their DJ frames... the build sucks... the parts are too low end for durability but will do. But your better off building a da bomb from scratch and end up with a lot more pogi points. If your on a limited budget you can start with an SS setup but atleast you get a better quality build. Get a lower standover frame too.
If you are brand conscious, IMHO dabomb though more available are better packaged.

I agree with pat, build it yourself sir! and handpick your parts, you can actually get parts from PinoyMTBiker hehehe and you get value for money

i know a dirt jumper who improved his game when he switched from the bomb grenade to that khs frame... and like what pat and apol said, handpick your parts carefully specially if your gonna do some serious dirt jumping...

Unknown2907, how much is the bike you're looking at? It really depends on the price.
While I agree with Patrick & Apol, I also believe if the price is good, it's not that bad of a build. It would still last you a long time for just dirtjumping & trailriding. I rode one like that here (gray color though) & the geometry was good. The frame is built burly & if anything, you could still upgrade parts as they break. I wasn't fond of the brakes - it was brand new & may have needed breaking-in.
BUT, if you're fond of decked out parts, you're better off building one up.
Good luck on your decision!

That's cool. If you're going with Da Bomb, Patrick's right, go single speed. You could even just have a rear brake for a total DJ/Street set-up.
BB7 feels crispier for some reason. The BB5 I have on my white hardtail stops just as strong as my old BB7 but the levers still pull in even after the calipers are already locked on the rotors. It could be the cable but I never felt that with the BB7 when I first used them. Base it on your budget.
Good luck on your build.

With that budget I would suggest go with a BB7... and let the budget go to other parts...especially your fork.
I am not familiar with shimano hydros though so you may want to look for other options as well.
The BB7 has the feel of hydros in terms of linearity...thats common knowledge in trials, I don't know in other fields...just look it up.
