The bike is built yehey.
I just transfered my wheelset, im still running gears test ko muna. Im gonna gradually shift to SS.
I got a temporary taiwan BB (122.5mm, pwede na rin) until my 127mm BB arrives and then im gonna shift to SS for a better chainline.
Got a kristel ridgid fork perfect for my geometry and a headset cough # donated # cough ... ;D este bought soon to be paid hehe from Bruce. (Bruce hawhaw de karabao? pwedi idefosit?)

hehe im still nursing an aching body from pedaling from the house to Amari ;D hehe greaseart I found the stem quite low (strong resistance on pulling on the bars). Do you think I need longer stem or a higher rise?

Definately brad! Get a stem that's more than a 100mm with 15 deg rise. The trials guys use 120's or more... sweet ride brad! Abubacca!

thanks
Ef im already using a 100mm stem, its resting on a "no lift" sweet spot hehe a longer stem might do the work. I added 2mm of spacer and it helped a bit.

wow! it's finally built! nice rigid fork with caliper mounts! where'd you get it?
i agree.... look for a very loooong stem... so it will look more agressive... or maybe a very hiiiiigh rise bar...

I know that feeling... no matter what you do, the bike just doesn't seem to pull up, by the way, have you experimented with handlebar sweep? A couple of degrees fore or aft makes a lot of difference!

I know that feeling... no matter what you do, the bike just doesn't seem to pull up, by the way, have you experimented with handlebar sweep? A couple of degrees fore or aft makes a lot of difference! Yeah I did, the sweep is now at its optimum I think, Its kinda a bit forward, I tried something less and a bit more but both sucked. Nicest idea was to lessen the deep angle of my brake levers which took care of my newly formed calouses hehe. I think im gonna figure out first how to compensate if that will work. My advice if your gonna start to learn trials: get a trials frame and ridgid fork, research the geometry thal will work for you. I think I did like 20% better than I did before I rode the new frame and fork once I got used to the feeling. Except for the manuals where the I now sucked more than before hehe Hardtail na ridgid pa hehe Ridgid rules ;D

patrick yup the grenade that has maguras in pink bikes is mine, hehehe! its a little heavy for hardcore trials, hehehe am looking into ordering the alibongo or the tibo. I dont want to have a full trials bike that i cant do anything else with but TRIALS hehe. so when are you guys haveing street trials session? sama naman

I dont want to have a full trials bike that i cant do anything else with but TRIALS hehe. so when are you guys haveing street trials session? sama naman I suggest looking for a better geometry to help you advance faster. Shorter chainstays etc. If you have the cash to burn get a Norco moment hehe ;D Check the chainstays on those frames first, you might end up with the same setup, youll just end up having a bit lighter bike with the same stuff. I was gunning for a planet x before but sadly couldnt get one. Incase you cant get PX, checkout Simtra's street bike: hereI got this 2004 frame rather than the 2006 hoping to make a street/trials bike, but d@mn sarap ng dedicated trials bike. Sayang I should have gotten the 2006 Viper. Im gonna build another street bike nalang. Well actually build my old frame again. But this time im gonna have some suspension on the front not the semi ridgid. BTW I buy pandesal using the trials bike hehe, no sitting. pat, not tym to get new stem yet, ride ur bike and familiarize it get the handling first for a month or two then if u still think u need a longer stem then go 4 it Im afraid I have to agree with you. ;D Sorry ronald mine is an el cheapo stem not worth the swap for you hehe ;D

Scrap bikes which makes bmx frames has a new frame intended for urban assault and a mix of street. It can have both 24" and 26" wheels for only 8k...
Also has horizontal dropouts, but the only draw back to this frame as my friend told me is the crossbar thingie on the rear end part which hits the rear wheel when you make "sagad" the wheel...hehehe
I'll post pics when I have a chance!

Hey I hope you mean it, i will pedal without a saddle going to lugawan since I already put a starnut in my seat hehe Just wondrin' dude, why put a starnut in your seat tube? It's just added weight. Or you attach some kind of thingamajig to the starnut?
