Good News Peepz! Feline13, MrsAtomyk, JenMai, Dreadhead, Whoopi, Francis, and I Urban Assaulted Amari Sunday between 0900 to 1100 under conditions that make mountain biking so pleasurable and envigorating - slight drizzling rain, moderate salty breeze coming in from the sea, strong heavy waves pounding the seawall, and this you won't believe - the vast expanse of the Park was empty of roadies, promenaders, vendors except for several fishermen casting lines atop the edge of Amari Powerplant SeaWall because of threat of impending heavy downpour that never happened whole of Sunday morning. Simply stated. Whole of Amari was ours to hug, embrace, spin, and assault.
Spur of the moment visit ito huh. We originally planned to bike to Avalon Zoo, Montalban or hit the muddy trails of Maarat, Mt. Dew to Boso Boso from Makati Avenue. The dark, dreary, ever threatening prospect of heavy downpour made us cancel San Mateo/Montalban ride in exchange for this exhilarating Amari Urban Assault escapade.

rocky, I was there too... I, Eikichi and Otep planned to meet at Amari unfortunately it rain so we cancel the ride. At 8:00 am So I went straight to one of my client computer shop near harrision, the shop was still close and the shop keeper was still sleeping waited for 1 hr, past 9am got bored so I just decided to keep me busy, went to PICC then straight to Amari. Same as before no bikers around ;D. So go straight back to Macapagal Highway. Make 3 laps from Buendia to Uniwide Coastal Mall then back to my client. ;D  I should drop by at the Amari Powerplant nag urban pala kayo hehhehe ;D ;D ;D.

ok urban assault report --
7:30 am despite the weird weather, we were there.
rocky, gbb, feraskulio, mr_big, francis, alien_scream, jovel, rob and myself ate mami for breakfast before deciding to pedal to UP via the long stretch of baywalk, nagtahan, welcome rotonda, QC circle.
we had fun time making patintero with the cars .. them a bit worried coz they had a one-eyed rider with them complete with black eye-patch.. moi. hehe.
upon arriving UP and enjoying the cool wind and fresh air thanks to the lush forestry and the ambiance of the campus... we got word from PRESIDENT OWEN that he was cooking lunch... further text exchanges had 7 riders gate crashing in their house enjoying the yummiest pinakbet and crispy pata in the area.
grabe ang sarap!!!
we were watching MTB video in their big screened TV when we noticed that it was time to go..
and we reluctantly pedalled our way back home..

perfect way to spend my birthday.
