I've seen people ride and do crazy things, and frorider said master your bike so you could do anything with it...
I've wondered if I tried a small frame like GT and I think it'll make a great difference...
But as what I've seen with ViperKiss, it all proved me wrong so maybe it's all in the riding experience...
Me, I've ridden my bike for almost one year now...
Maybe I'll try a different frame or ride more with my original frame...
How about you guys...

Kona...in terms of pivoting, trackstands, drops, wheelies, backhops...I see no difference using large or small frame. But when it comes to lurching, bunnyhops, and anything with a hop at the end frame geometry and weight, I believe, is a great deal. I'd really want to advance my trials practice to the level where I can do lurches...but my frame won't allow me. It's too heavy and the top tube is too long (need to cut 3inches from it ;D). So I too would like to replace it with a smaller, lighter frame, maybe 12-14" seat tube height

So we have, two people vying for a small frame hehehehe... I'm a tall man, but my weight is reduced now, most likely when I gain weight in the future I'll try to upgrade my frame, saw a good candidate and it almost looks like a BMX frame for me to trash around, but that would be a long time I guess... Viperkiss, when I saw you ride and strut your stuff, I was amazed on how much control you've got on your self, it only shows you've ridden your bike for a looooonnnggg time, (sabay tayo upgrade ng frame) ;D Alien Scream, brad I've got to see you do your thing, I mean with a bike that is...

Rosa hehehe About the frame, first is that I'll know what the name of the frame is, how much is it and where it is available... All I know that it is a GT frame and should cost around 2k... It's what my cousin is using, I'll ask more questions about him... kris (wanting to ride at Sta. Rosa again)

hi guys, im new here. im kinda confused also on what frame size to get. im 6' tall and probably (definitely) will get a da bomb frame. i wanna try dirt jumping anyways. used to ride bmx back in the early 90's, hey ok, i admit im a little bit old(early 30's). used to ride halfpipe and did some dirt jumping myself. i will send some pics soon. pinoy mtbikers rule!

i'm 6'1". i always buy a Large frame, i.e. at least a 19" frame. but that's XC geometry, not sure what size a Large is in DJ frames. better ask the shops for a Large. the Medium will be too small for u, e.g. ur knees might hit the bars on turns or something.

staind, thanks for the reply. yup, use to own a 19" cannondale hard tail for cross country race. but this time a wanna try trail riding and dirt jumping that is why im planning to get a smaller frame. what do you think?

DJ frame geometry is smallish compared to XC geometry so better get a Large DJ frame. it'll still look small compared to ur 19" XC frame.
