(God forbid!!!) hehehe, what about locking grips. there are the ODIs (but expensive) or you can get those generic ones (cheap)

hei Gulli...nope I didn't remove the plugs...it's too risky..he..he..I'm not a weight weenie to do that ;D I'm looking for thicker plugs actually, and maybe some kind of tape as grip substitute...but my gloves worked fine...and even my bare hands I liked the bars without the grips 'coz it gave my brake levers more clearance...and I can tightly grip the bars due to reduced diameter hei Kona...upgrade your gloves 'pre...mine is a pair of "scorpio extreme" that I got for only 750 pesos. Malambot naman sya and the underside grips well Pag mahal kasi na gloves like those 1400 pesoses a pair parang nakaka-panghinayang gamitin pang trials...he..he..baka 1 month lang punit na ;D

Php450 lang yung iang pair nito, try it!
* end of plug* hehehehe

ei Lance...galing sa salestalk ah ;D I actually like this da bomb locking grips and I'm considering buying a pair for my xc rides...but I'm on physical therapy rehab right now (translation: no mtb ride for almost a month na..hu..hu) so no need to rush in getting them Pagsawaan ko muna ang no grips setup sa trials practice

read this article about gripless bars. they used grip tape for badminton racket (prince, yonex, etc). mas makapit daw kasi pag basa. just so u know. more power to you guys.
