La ako pasensya eh..I really wnt to learn some basic to intermediate trial skills pero tamad talaga mag praktis. Sometimes i do try doing some wheelie, trackstand, pivot etc. pero parang sablay mostly eh, wala sa hulog.

Getting busy for school work these days , minsan na lang ako makapagpractice. Storm - 'tol mahirap talaga pag malambot yung suspension mo, di ko pa kayang magwheelie eh pero yung mga nag-downhill yakang-yaka nila. Why don't you try practicing on you other bike-kona. Matigas ba yung mz comp?

Matigas pa yung MZ Comp nun; medyo bago pa eh hehe. Ako lang yung mahina eh GT, Maulan nga masayado dun ngayon. Pero three straight weeks na ko umakyat dun up to peak1 this month lalo na pag dehins makasama sa mga pinoymtbikers. Minsan solo pa nga (late kase magising kaya ala na kasabay) kaya sama na tol pag may time

Pag nagtials kayo mas madali kung naka rigid fork ka, yung frame mo is about size 12 and makapit talaga yung brakes mo gaya ng magura na HS-33, cranks should be 22T... paminsan minsan nagagamit ko yung set-up ng brother ko kasi nagtra-trials sya pero sa ngayon madaming trabaho at maulan kaya di nakaka pag bike

Sa pivots nalagpasan ko na yung 10 degree mark, on to 60 or 90 degree na ko. Looks like I'll have to attach my rigid fork again to endo higher Pre...if you can do the front pivot past the 10 - 30 deg mark...then you're doing ok. To pivot more than 90 deg you just have to do it aggressively...endo higher and swing your hips/ twist your body faster

turuan nyo naman ako bunny hop at saka pivoting at basic jumping advantageous kc s trail riding nyon eh at kahit s city street di nakailangang bumaba ng bike para lng makaayat ng gutter o kaya climbing short ladder steps. At saka mukhang mapapsarap ang biyahe kc u can clear small obstacle with it even big ones when going pro. Sige naman o?
Hirap eh harap lang ang umaangat. Pano b huhugutin ng paa ung likod ano b teknik dun nakakapika na eh.

look at the website in the previous posts in this tread....... www.trials-online.com/trials-techniques.phpmay mga definitions sya doon...... as for manuals... its like a wheelie but without pedaling, and using the brakes, the technique in all in the foot (balancing)........

Bukoy - there are many variations of hopping, the one I could do is lifting both wheels at the same time (mababa lang to) the other one is where you lift the front wheel first and then follow through with the rear. Nasubukan mo na bang tignan yung isang thread dito? Storm - manuals is where you balance your weight above the rear wheel. Di ko pa nasubukan to Lurch (pedalkick) - as the name says, jumping with the pedalkick, si GT kaya na to ;D

Hirap eh harap lang ang umaangat. Pano b huhugutin ng paa ung likod ano b teknik dun nakakapika na eh. Bukoy...pre see the Jumping Techniques thread...I have posted there my technique in lifting/ unweighting the rear wheel. This is a pre-requisite in learning jumps such as the bunnyhop. Actually kahit rearwheel lift lang ang kaya mo okey na..you don't need to bunnyhop na...sa rear wheel lift kasi I can go up a two feet high gutter...

Progression Report:
Seems I could trackstand better now. Endoes are much controlled. Jumping still the usual (mababa).
Guess I have to be preoccupied with another move like backhops instead of pivoting. but would still like to practice pivoting.

Question once again, me requirement bang psi kada tire to perform a trackstand, or other tekniks in trials.

Endo is the result of the stopping force when you brake on the front wheel. Its different from unweighing your rear wheel. Siguro yung sa tire pressure nila, ganon lang talaga yon to absorb impact when dropping-off and to have grip. Di ko pa nasusubukan to when trackstanding Bukoy don't forget to wear a helmet when practicing trials, just my advice

Korek Kona...in addition, I refer to it as an endo when I use the front or rear brake to lift the front or rear wheel...rear wheel lift naman when you lift the rear wheel without using the front brake

Maitanong ko narin anong PSI would u recommend to perform basic trials (trackstand, rearlift, pivot, hops).

Bukoy - pareho lang tayo, the real GURU here is GT ;D marami lang akong nabasang trials how-to manuals at dehins ko pa ito masyadong ina-apply Oo nga siguro pagnakapunta tayong Sta. Rosa or anywhere in Laguna Magdedemo sa atin si GT ;D When practicing Trackstands I recommend to you the link that woofers posted here on this thread.

Hoy...hoy..Bukoy..ehehehe...at Kona...pareho lang tayo nag-prapraktis...I'm not a guru yet..wish ko lang ;D My trials skills may be categorized as "advanced beginner"...alam nyo yon...yung tipong marunong ng kaunti pero di pa magaling..he..he.. ;D Bukoy...pre level of patience ba ang tinatanong mo...you have to have lots of it...kahit ako kung minsan nauubusan din nun ;D Maganda yung site that woofers posted...I would recommend that also Good foot or choco foot - this is the foot that you are comfortable with, positioned to the front when doing downhills, coasting, etc...basta eto yung paa mo na palagi nasa unahan by instinct pag di ka pumapadyak. Bad foot - opposite of good foot ;D ;D ;D
