This list is for riders who have experienced or aim to experience DH and are on a limited budget ...but do not want to sacrifice component performance late model DH triple clamp dual crown forks are the answer IMHO pls list the model, fork travel, unique feature, estimate price at present (old stock new or 2nd hand) and give your rating (1 to 10 labuyos ..10 highest) fork model years: 2002- 2003- 2004- 2005- 2006- lets not include 2007 muna pls I use a 2004 Marzocchi Super T, 7 incher, HSCV dampening is sweet, P16t-18t 2nd hand, fork rating: 8 labuyos

For me...
- 2003 Jr T: So far, hadn't let me down. It had survived continuous bombing. Haven't encountered the spike that other users are saying. Maybe, I'm not that sensitive though ;D. Dual SSVF damping, 7" travel and Std QR.
- 2003 Super T Pro: Hadn't tested it yet. Dual HSCV damping, 7" travel w/ QR20mm pro.
Ride Hard and Ride Safe...

'98 got an RST Hi-5, claimed 5in travel but probably was able to squeeze out only 3.5in max
then a DNM volcano (medyo DiNaMove unless you hit a boulder)
then an '03 boxxer race, cant make my saint run drag free on that d@#n fork so reverted back to my old DNM. Besides, when you've spent years on a volcano you cant help but feel like ure on a pogostick when you hammer 'em boxxers .
Luckily last year, was able to turn my volcano into a DNMM (DiNaMasyadoMatigas) when a van ran over my friend's volcano equipped rig. bike was a total wreck but i managed to take apart the fork and got all the softer springs and swapped it w my hard ones, and voila, a DNMM!
Would probably stick with it until i run it to the ground!

Very nice inputs padres I see lotsa 2004 & 2005 models shining in this thread OT: I d like to add that the zoke 2003 DJ3s are my best value late model all mountain forks due to weight passable dampening and durability...and it was way plush I ve tried: 2003 DJ3 2002 JrT 2003 JrT 2004 SuperT 2006 888RC lusting for a boxxer Team and a fox 40 but those forks are wasted on a funrider like me tsk tsk

can we include single crowns? how about the marzocchi 2006 66rc2x? i'm personally very happy with this fork, doesn't match the travel of more recent dual crown forks but it does the job and weighs less!

I'm very happy with mine as well! I use mine in my AM bike though and it has just the right adjustments to lessen the pedal bob when your cranking up on uphills. I just turn the rebound slow and stiffen the low speed compression and it prevents it from bobbing on fireroad uphills. For rocky technical uphills, the rebound is set 2/3 to slow while the compression is set 1/3 from open. Fast multiple hits requires my rebound to be 5 clicks from open and my low speed compression 1 click from open. Jumping / hucking needs alot of high speed compression while the rebound is set 2/3 to slow. The forks adjustability makes it a versatile but heavy AM fork. It weight is only 1/2 lb less than my 170mm 888RC while being 2/3 lb more than my 170 Sherman Slider spare fork. It can't match the 170mm 888rc in terms of stiffness but equals the dual crown slider stiffness wise. It equals the 170 888rc in taking multiple hits, bests the 170888rc in cornering due to lower AC height but isn't as confidence inspiring in steep chutes. It's almost like a 888 but not quite.
