SANDBAGGING? on seeding/qualifying runs? i doubt.... you just set a cut-off qualifying time so that all who would intend to sandbag will never qualify... hehehehe
You sandbag = you dont qualify / dont get into top 10 or 20... so you just become spectator all day
3pts for 1st place 2pts for 2nd place 1pt for 3rd place 0.5pts for 4th to 5th the rest from 5th to 10th gets 0.25pts
its seems fair cuz the Top10 finishers get to accumulate the points and from there a more solid basis for categorization will be in order..... or you peeps want the complicated point system from the UCI? hehehehe........ (were gonna need an accountant for that)

sir move it, march 30 is also DH sked for UPLB Laguna. pls chek & be advised we have DH Calendar 2008. so that race conflict 'MAIWASAN' DH gurus, FYI lang po. got word from eboy of the bataan trail riders that they will have the 3rd padyakan sa bataan this march 30, 2008 (tentative date). last year's DH course (joey barba is the defending champion) will be redesigned after some consultation with some of our DH brothers (like boyet C in particular). they will have a refined DH course and bigger cash prizes. but just in case you think this date will conflict with another DH race, please paki advise lang po.

Richie the track is almost done. Just need to clear out some weeds to make it faster. And we havent started working on the last jump at the finish line. I'll be out of town surfing (yahoo!) this weekend but Erwin and the boys are always there. Try it out and let us know what improvements we can make.

Master Jay, How to get ther when inside VALLEY GOLF?

Master Jay, How to get ther when inside VALLEY GOLF? From Ortigas Avenue gate of valley golf go straight until you see another guarded gate (boom baricade). There's a right turn going up right after this 2nd gate. Take that road. Just go straight up, then road will start going down. Then turn right onto another gate. Use side entrance unless you want to climb that gate. Go straight you'll see a big jump at the end of that road. Its already part of the racetrack. If you're lost, ask where eagle's nest is. The racetrack is near Faith Academy. To go to the start, just follow the paved road to the right of the jump until you see the big concrete water reservoir on top of the mountain.

@pureguts - can i take the sumulong route? planning on an xc on saturday.. rideable b sya with an xc bike? You can pre. Just follow the main road until you reach the gate inside and follow the same instructions above. Although you can also take left turn before you reach the golf and country club condos. It will end up at the racetrack as well. Just follow the creek.

@wade - i was planning on riding xc dis saturday, might as well go to bukohan in antipolo then go to valley golf since it's near the area. i'll also try to bomb the trail with the ride if the condition permits. though i think it's hard but kung pwede, baka pwede... hehehehe....
