I think it would be too uncomfortable riding DH wearing protection for your nuts. Just wear cycling short with thick paddings and take extra care.

practically none, if you wear the cup it will distract your pedalling.
This is where women bikers are at advantage,
just make deposit in the sperm bank just in case the future is in danger.

I agree with Rocketman. Other than your standard cup, there are no special cup for mountain biking - I think.

the available cups are only required for sports that doesn't require you to sit while playing... ex... football... martial arts... boxing... etc...
even while your standing, it doesn't feel comfy wearing this kind of babys... maybe try to look for those cups made of something softer than kevlar... thats if there is something in vavailable...

none.... u try wearing a cup.. it will feel cumbersome in some freaky way.... the sides of the cup will give you nasty abrasions on your thighs( hence instant herpes look) hahahahaha... and if u slam with a cup its gna hurt a lot more cuz the sidewall covers the perimeter of your dong! so its gonna leave a mark! lol
wanna know why u slammed your nuts? try standing up on take off and stretch your legs! buckling position is enhanced when you stretch ur legs on landing it kinda gives you an extra 6-8 inches of travel on impact.....
wonder why big air freeriders stretch all their legs when they take off and they just let the bike absorb the impact of landing and they try as hard as they can to keep their eyes open... cuz going big will really shake something loose up on yer head.... hehehe

i know there are protectors that aren't necessarily "cups"; they are just flat plastic covers that will cover your family jewels; sure beats not having any protection at all here's what i found from google, looks like its used for contact sports and it looks not too bulky www.warriorpages.com/images/Shock_Dr_pr-gr-09.gif

hmmm thats a good product mrkamot... hehehe.... yep it sure beats steel on flesh...
yep its not too bulky tho.... might just work..
and for the tube pads.... ummm forget it.... cuz during a tumble n crumble crash.... you'd never know what part of the bike will hit...
for example... a simple 15 footer drop at san mateo slashed my armpits 7 inches long.... i had roach guards on my stem, top tube, shocks, ........ fuckin rear sprocket hit me...... my dong was ok but i was bleeding like a btch in labor!
ahehehehehe...... if u plan on going big at an early age you better have more children than moses before you try anythin silly....
