if your are into flat pedals, try to use the knee and shin armor combo, all of us knows why, hehhehe
if using cleats, yes you can use the knee only armor. but watch out your shin
Troy lee is race proven by the pros and its also trail worthy and nice to have, love their d2 full face helmets.
pricing is on the high end side.
if you have the dough, go for it! you get what you paid for.
but if budget is tight, check out sexsexone

hmmm body armor?... TLD or 661 would work nicely, a whole riding set would go for: 3t knee/shin combo, 10t+ body armor, 10t helmet, ..... same goes for 661 somethin around the same price range........
word of advice: no matter how much it is as long as its product rated n specific for the application its good...
but then again.....protective clothing can provide as much as 15% effectivity only. i mean with great speed comes greater hospitalbills............. hahahahaha......
i mean spending 3t 2x a year is a hell of a lot better than 30t for a busted knee...... hehe
** the limbs? dnt worry as long as you dnt stick em out too much in mid air while frollickin for impact, youll be ok and if you do break a few..... just relax they grow back but slightly disfigured and so...... hehehehhe...
hope this helps......

yes Buddy is the man saw it, live 35 ft. face plant
TIP for goggles:
Always go for brands with available replacement lens here in pinas,
some friend/riders bought this ISPAY, ISMITH, RNette, goggles etc but when they scratch the lens
and it's time to replace, they can't find any. or they have to order it from abroad.
recommended OaKLEY the crowbar is nice you can buy it with freebie tir ops. (tear offs). 3-4k, also try ISCOTTS probably cheaper
replacement lens avaialble.

Try BLUR B-1, good reviews from other MTB forum. Got mine from Cycle Options @ 1.7k, they have replacement lens in stock (with 3 lens tints to choose from) and I believe they also have tear-offs. Has anti-fog, scratch-resistant lens, etc., etc. (marketing hype, as always). Not as much bling as Oakley but serves the purpose at half the price.

ah yes rocketman was there with bong T , they were quarrelling over who gets my pick-up and who gets my bike... if in any event i break my neck and die during that attempt........ ;D Im so lucky to have friends like them ... hahahaha..... hence "Concerned lang kami sayo!" .... hahahahah ;D yes correct .... regarding goggles... get the ones with available replacement lenses and they should be double layered lens.. .... i once witnessed a co-rider of mine crashing helmet first on a rock garden, the single soft lens type goggles rip apart from the frame and sliced his nose n eyebrow...... Nasty( parang pinalo ng bote ng beer sa mukha).......! so spending on safety gear aint all that bad.... as long as its comfortable and not cumbersome.... hell its all good. ;D PS. Rocketman is always flying around Oakley's head ofc near my house like a vulture.... always preying on end of the quarter sale at oakley..hahahahha.......... **DOA
