Went to the US Open qualifier. I can never be a photographer! Was there the whole day & we only got few pics. Didn't even get to take some good riding pics along the trail. I just don't have the patience to just sit there & wait. So I ended up doing runs. Anyway... Even the roads are hilly... The future?.... A few pics from the finish line... Nothing hotter than a hot chick who rides! Rider dropping the Phantom Drop... Dave's first time dropping the Phantom on a Rocky Mountain RMX (demo bike). He was stoked after landing it nice & clean... I had to hike up twice to get shots. Effin' Dave still didn't get me in the air. LOL! Front wheel just leaving the lip... Landing... Hopefully I'd take nicer pics next time. Maybe next week? (Sabay ilag sa misis..) P.S. For trials guys here; Jeff Lenosky practicing on two picnic tables. He was gapping it like he was just hopping his bike on the sidewalk.

Thanks, unknown! I'll try to take better pics next time. The drop pics had too much light. My friend & I were too tired to even think about lighting the afternoon we shot those. Hopefully I'd have the patience to stop on every good section & take a pic or two. Glad you like 'em!

But I'm not even a fraction as good as Lopes. I'm an average rider. The drop is really not that bad. It's a good 7 ft. from the deck to the flat of the gap & the gap is about 5 ft. before the start of the tranny (the angle of the pic doesn't do the drop justice though). Depending on the speed, you'd be dropping vertically around 8-15 ft. The landing is smooth.

Thanks, evil! We should ride when you're passing by NJ, man - or when I'm passing by MI. Hehe. Here's another angle of the drop. Borrowed from the internet. Wish I was able to shoot this angle last Saturday.
