Wow, so this race is set to rock the MTB world this May. I hope the date is made final so that I can arrange my schedule around it accordingly.

it's almost 2 weeks before the "un-announced" may 10 race date.
if this will push thru, there should be official announcement.

This morning, I was having breakfast at Bistro del Cielo, Parque Espana Residence Hotel (we had a Plant Model Review last night and the office booked us there) when I noticed that the race track is cleaned up and ready for use...
That made me wonder, and after seeing that this thread is "Alive" once more... THAT explains it!!!

went to sabak makati like last 3 or 4 days ago and sabi its good to go daw on may 10.

The racetrack at Filinvest will be rerouted at the back portion of Leslie's so the race will be move on May 17. Work on the track will start on Sat. Thanks

was at grantrail a while ago... i heard unyo ask one of the sabak guys if the trail was already open... sabi it's open na raw... not sure about this... anybody from sabak who can confirm?

Greetings friends! Sorry haven't been quite able to post recently. The track as what my brad (titusti) said was rerouted at the back portion near Leslie's. According to Ricky M and Boy s track is better now. Track is OPEN for riding now but still needs to be cleaned a bit more. For those who are planning to join the 12hr endurance on May17 pwede na mag practice! For those who are just looking to ride in the area come and try the modified tracks Helmets pls. Hope to see you all on May 17! |

tried it yesterday, no wonder there were no guards. track seems the same except for the added switch backs near the top of the climb to leslies. nice though is the trail is not too bumpy anymore as before (a killer on a HT).

Thanks may 17! the PinoyMTBiker race will be held the next day diba? panu yan? guys, paul and i have been brainstorming. it seems that sabak moved the 12 hrs race on may 17. unfortunately, me, paul, and others here will participate in the said race. so, we'll move the PinoyMTBiker race on june 1. i'll be updating the threads as well. but for the mean time, let's do the 12 hrs race. kita kita tayo dun guys. let's have some food, drinks and a lot of chika. oh and lets race na din, hehehe ;D. |

hi all. the race shall be on may 17, 2008 as mentioned earlier by the titus brethren. apologies on the delay, had to attend to some last minute changes by the land owners. the track has been modified and the "fresh" portion needs to settle down. also need to do some more cleaning up prior to the race. we are targetting a "formal" opening by this weekend so everyone can try the new track and help "bed in" the soil so it's nice and compact, just what we need for the race on may 17. please follow this thread for more details: pinoymtbiker.proboards7.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=compete&thread=11960 |
