hey to the guys who have biked there recently, how's the track now? smoother? lots smoother, King its good that some peeps ride the track in the rain so they roughen it up every now and then. [the bike tracks they cut in the muddy trail turn into our favorite ruts] the rougher, the more pure it is

... I'd be the stiffer and fatter rider Alphabolt! Nice seeing you at the track. How 'bout another ride on Thursday with us newbies? But seriously, my hardtail is killing my back. I need FS...hopefully I get one very soon! Ahem ahem.

If you have the patience to ride with newbies just send me a pm. Will be hitting the track again tomorrow, Thursday. Not yet sure if morning or afternoon. Will have to ask smbdealer. since he's my teacher. i'm a newbie myself ;D I have seen the track but I haven't tried it. OT: We'll be hitting Pasong Buwaya on Sunday. So sad that I can only ride on weekends due to work.

If this guy sues then we won't have this venue anymore! this could be the end of filinvest allowing us use of their land.

well, hopefully the track will be re-opened eventually, but not without some changes, particularly in the safety/liability front.
maybe Filinvest can enlist the aid of the LBS's in the area to help manage the track? Aside from ensuring that all riders have the proper safety equipment, maybe they can also sign a waiver as well? A bit more paperwork but it may be worth it considering how convenient the track is, especially to new riders.

hehehe....rest assured that the track will be open in a couple of days...we (Sabak and Filinvest) just need to iron out some details of some legal issues to ensure nothing like this (not the accident cuz we all know this is part of our beloved sport but more of the issues arrising from consequences) happens again... funny thing is don't know who was involved in the incident this morning but have seen kids, mothers, families who are starting to pick up the sport try out the track without any untoward incidents.... let this be a warning/reminder for all of us...enjoy the sport to the max but ride within your own personal limits...cheers!!

The park on its own is safe. many bike it and many come out much happier and healthier. it is how it is used that makes it dangerous. i think what would be best is to put a gigantic sign near the entrance of the track limiting and stating the conditions of the use of the land.

The best thing for bike parks to do is put a big sign with terms of service: ie By using the bikepark the rider agrees to the following waiver .... etc etc. Maybe you guys can find out who he is and post it here. I personally think a beating is in order but we might get sued hehe.
