Congratulations to PinoyMTBiker team Camote who came in 8th place of 21 teams. Paul, Lito and Jay. and to all the other pmtbers who showed what stuff they're made off. I shudder to think what would have happened if paul had not broken his rear deralleur during the early stages. It was nice to finally meet the other pmtbers whose threads I read everyday, tofi, mr & mrs mcvarki (matt & michelle), Jonjon, Jay, nice to see the familiar faces, paul, lito, owen, maribon, migs... Great going guys...! Till the next 24 hr madness!!! Next time lets put up more teams. Congratulations to your team too Ramon! Your team kicked ass!!!!

Hello to all, Just would like to share my wonderful experience in joining the 24-hour endurance event. ;D Although it was quite an exhausting thing to do going in cirlces for several hours, it was very well worth the effort due to the excitement, new friendships made, sharing, laughter, sweat and tears of joy... and of course, the overall spirit of fun (not to mention, a healthy way to spin around)! I can say that the amount paid for the registration was one of my best money spent and I don't regret it at all, even if my legs, arms, and back still ache until now.... Overall, I was happy to have survived the race up until the next day, more so with completing the minimum laps required. Btw, I'm just a newbie mountain biker and been recently hooked for about less than a month now.... Anyway, I'm just glad to be part of the event, that's all. Thanks to the organizers and to all fellow participants... hope to join again next time...! Cheers!! Love, Solo racer # 134

jr, we were we had our own tally sheet but we didnt know if we already updated or not hehe! we already lost count sa umpisa pa lang...but who cares when you're enjoying. ;D grnhrnt, thanks a lot mon...your team did well too i agree with what you and boyok had said...events like this should be given support...i think its only now that i see the wisdom of pipol like me and like most of the PinoyMTBiker's...peeps who are not "really" into racing to participate in such events... if we want to see our sport into its maturity its just the best thing to do...i noticed a large number of pipol who went there to participate were just like us..pipol who went there just for fun...i wonder what happened without their participation...kinda made me happy to hear of a rumor of another event before the year ends. i will repeat mon's call to put up more teams next time...mas masaya and at the same time nakakatulong tayo sa propagation of the sport...make it a family event if you want..just like boyok my support crew was my wife..my kids and my father were also there...now my kids know what their dad is doing when hes not with them on a weekend...i want to thank them also. dami akong napansin na dapat i-improve sa officiating but thats not the point..am pretty sure sure its going to improve once it becomes more popular...believe me guys it not that hard kung di mo lang ka-career...some of us solo, mix, all men just completed the required 12 laps and just hang around the camp enjoying themselves..next time dala talaga ako ng beer so we can have something to drink after the race...cheers to all!

goodpm to all!!
congrats to all PinoyMTBiker athletes!
I'm sorry mga sir, if we we're not able to jammed with you coz we're a little bit shy but atleast i saw most of you, maybe next race i'll come earlier so that we could minggle and have a chat. The race was terribly exhausted I was about to run during night but the problem was i can see clearly during dark, i tried to run @ 11:30pm till 12:00pm to test my sight but i cant. But the most important part in the race was the camaraderie with the team, again CONGRATS to all see you again on next race and on the trail im going to try using clipless have to practice starting today roadie first.. Thanks again...

there was beer? ?? Yes Marcs, there was! ;D ;D ;D @tofi and Jon I agree the BBQ and the beer could've been the team to beat, hehehe... sayang, actually we did exchange some bottles for bulalo at ginataang tilapia w/ kamias courtesy of Mang Dave of San Mateo Bikers (who happens to be a bicolano) who was camped right behind us. As far as I can remember meron pang nagdala ng Balut (and some more beer at around 12 and 1:30am). ;D ;D ;D It cost us some laps though that we could have been completed between 4-6am If we manage to wake up early the next day. But we cannot resist the cold beer, hehehe....

Oh yes he is. You can tell from his scenes in Gameplan while repairing his chain. So prim and proper!
