a cheaper way to keep those precious minerals that we need to replenish during and after a 3hr ride or so...
it has the Gatorade Logo on it but the price is almost 50% less, but still works like it...maybe more cheaper in Pure Gold...
if you don't want to use those tablets commonly used by kids having a bad case of frequent visit to the bathroom...either the salt method... this is your thing...

I like this better than the original gatorade. Mandarin Orange yum yum!
My only gripe is that it's hard to find!

one thing to remember about propel is that it doesn't have the same number of calories as gatorade (from what I remember, it has maybe 50 calories per bottle). Propel is a great recovery drink but not so good when you are in the early stages of bonking...

For recovery or after ride. Rather eat natural food 30 minutes after the ride and drink lots of water. Also lots of powder mix drink for quick muscle recovery.

Flip is right.....propel lacks the carbs to prevent you from bonking. a is guh20, though some might find it bland.

i know this was discussed somewhere eh, but in relation to this post, any comments about taking oral rehydration salt (ORISOL) solution during rides? as a cheaper alternative kasi (vs. buying gatorade), i make it a point to mix 1 hydrite tablet (P12.00) to one hydration bottle for use during long rides (mga 70km+ rides). i hope this is not OT
