When training, you would also notice that wounds heal slower than usual. But your nails and hair grow faster (that is if you recover correctly after training- READ AS: EATING). Quite a contradiction eh? why is that i wonder? With regard to temperament, it's normal. I tend to shout at my wife after long rides you know. "OO AKO MAGLALABA NIYAN, HON!!!" no wonder.... ;D

;D ;D ;D good one. Allegra -how about sleeping? Usually when you train hard you will have sleeping problem also. It could probably varies to a person. no probem sa sleeping , normal 4-5 hrs of sleep during trainng days except on recovery days , I'm sleepy the whole day only 4 hrs of sleep on training days for me ( when I used to...) would be too short.... and in the long term will cause grumpiness

Recovery of muscle tissue from training, and healing of wounds, are a function of absorption of nutrients and rest. Stress which affects rest and absorption of nutrients naturally impedes healing. And yes, when we are under stress, nails, eyebags, wrinkles and Hair actually grow faster. This is noticeable during my kid's exam week, MY nails and beard regrow exceptionally fast! My 2 cents. P.S. I also noticed that ever since I started biking, my temperament (and sanity) seemed to be always surfing beyond the border of normal. The other night, I asked my son what he preferred, writing A-B-C or spanking. He approached me and gave me his behind, pointing to me which side he preferred. Life of a biker is like a Cartoon Network, I tell ya! Getting Hot Headed gets me nowhere! The remedy? I pour myself a glass (or pitcher) of ice cold drink (be it TsingTao or Fruit juice) and relax!

after training try to rest for awhile, your mind and body....relax stage....sleep comes along...deep sound sleep....wake up and you feel better without the grumpyness...coz we tend to be impatient when we dont have a complete rest.. wholistically (mind and body).....
