Anybody experienced needles on the limbs?
I get needles on my legs when I'm seated lotus style in Japanese restaurant, or seated awkwardly in a Jeepney, or kneeling or simply sitting too long on mini-chairs when spending time coloring books with my kids.
Is this symptom of low-blood pressure or what?

Errr, no doctor here, but I do experience needles on almost the same conditions as yours. Typically when I'm in an indian seat postion, or seated with my legs and feet almost at a level with my hips. i think it's just that a nerve gets pinched somewhere. when i change my sitting position it goes away

Isn't pins and needles just a sign of restricted blood flow and/or compressed nerves? Or rather, it's what you feel after the numbness. This can arise from either awkward positions of the body or pressure of an object against it. You just have to be concerned if this happens often, cuz it might be a sign of something else. I also get the same tingling feeling on my right arm. Every time I wake up, my right hand is numb. I've also felt numbness on the instep of my right foot. The doc advised me to start taking Vitamin B (One Six Twelve in particular) and after two weeks everything was a-ok.

I'm just holding off starting on glucosamine chrondoitin because I hate becoming dependent on drugs. Aaarrrrggghhhh!!!!!! I'll just take exercise in moderation.

i think this is normal to happen after an abnormal positioning of any part of the body for an extended period of time.

The only problem is that it happens all the time. If I rode a jeepney with no padding on the seats, I get needles. If I sit lotus type on the floor with my kids, I get needles. Nothing abnormal about the position, so there's definitely something wrong with the circulation. The consequence of aging maybe... How to upgrade bodyparts?
