Brothers, I discovered MARY KAY SUN ESSENTIALS ULTIMATE PROTECTION. This product have been granted the 'SKIN CANCER FOUNDATION SEAL OF RECOMMENDATION." Its SPF 30 and with UVA and UVB protection, waterproof and sweat-resistant. Fragrance-free and oil-free. No burning sensation pa. Contains moisturizer to help combat dryness from sun, wind and water. The price is affordable only P740.00 for 133 ml. Got mine from my wife. The effect was proven during our Holy week whole day ride and during our 10TH T.O.F. I had it for almost 2 months now and its been a "SUNBLOCK NG BAYAN" everytime we had a group ride. PEKTUZ, TIKTUK, KAGAWAD AND other "Back out boys" can attest to that. Let us ride safe and protect our skin from cancer. Bikely yours, Talahib

I read in Action Asia that SPFs above 30 have minimal increase in overall effectiveness. What's important are having both UVB/UVA protection, and regularly re-applying sunblock as this may get washed away by sweat.

I agree. UVB/UVA protection plays a vital role.

Do you need sunblock when your kulay aspalto already? I dont get sunburns anymore according to the same article, your SPF needs are actually less the darker your natural skin color is. Net, caucassians would usually need an SPF of 30 or higher, while Africans would probably need just SPF5. I remember cheenky asked this to his African friends when she was there in Africa, like if they get sunburned. Apparently not. Another thing though, enough exposure to the sun is also a good thing. You get your vitamin D from this. Balance is key

i don't think it's safe to stay outdoors esp. past 10am... the radiation or uv rays starts to peak..

i use hawaian tropic sun junk paired with arm warmers. it's tried and tested. I use it for all my sun blocking needs. it comes in a cool lime green sprayer and the liquid is lime green too and smells good. (ang babaw ko, grabe) anyway, try it out. Lance
