long and gradual climbs are 75% physical + 25% psychological. I try not to look ahead. I focus on a spot just 5 to 6 meters ahead of my bike

Climbing is more of a mental than a physical game (unless the rider is really physically incapable). Apply the 40% rule - when you're mind is telling you you're done, you're really only 40% done.
