Hello peeps,
Currently working now in Malaysia and noticed that super mahal yung known mtb bikes natin sa Pinas (giant, trek, etc...)
However, brands like Polygon and XDS are most common here and fair price. Parang Trinx ng pinas sila dito. Any feedback with Polygon and XDS?

Polygon is an Indonesian brand, which is why kalat siya sa SEA. Magaganda yung bikes nila.
Never heard of XDS before.

Thanks for the input guys.
Mukang I will try polygon. Most Pinoys here are buying from Pinas then dadalin nila dito sa Malaysia. I realized mura pa rin saten. Haha..

Been biking around lately, maganda nga pala ang Polygon and ok din ang price. Nasa mid and high end market bracket sila. What I like is meron sila mura 15k na bikes na decent ang hitsura and meron din naman mga pang enduro mga 150 to 250k. If meron nito sa Pinas, I can recommend it.
XDS medyo nasa lower bracket pero they was surprise na pogi mga bikes nila in person. Ganda rin mga frame and components sa halagang 25k.
TRS, feeling ko sila gumagawa ng mga entry level bikes ng ibang brand. I saw 1 bike here akala ko moondraker.. Super kamukha yung frame,.. Hehe.
Marin ang top 1 brand here.. Kaya yun nabili ko. Yun kase halos available sa lahat ng shops and mura sila with good specs for the price.
Giant and Trinx, di gano sikat here.
Yeti and Santa Cruz marami sa trails here.. Mga dala ng singkit na yayamanin. Hehe...
Hopefully pag uwi ko Pinas,. Makapagdala ako ng Rurok dito... Interested to support our own. Kaso may kamahalan ng konti haha.

XDS is actually a very decent brand and when I was working at Malaysia, this was the brand of bikes I was looking at / researching carefully. They are well known for being bang-for-buck and you will notice that for the price you will get better components from the XDS bikes compared to buying from the big name brands. One characteristic I see from XDS bikes are their hydroformed aluminum alloy frames and oversized head tube. Recently I saw RyanBikes carrying the XDS brand and I'm glad there are more options in the Php 25K - Php 40K category for MTB's. Here's an example of their top-end model: XDS Knight X-9 (Php 39K cash with Php 5K voucher) Frame: XDS XC-Pro Lite Alloy Fork: Rockshox XC30 Coil Headset: XDS Handle Bar: XDS Ranta Ascend Handle Post: XDS BRANCA Ranta Ascend Shifters: SRAM NX 12 Speed Front Derailleur: N/A Rear Derailleur: SRAM NX 12 Speed Crankset: SRAM NX Bottom Bracket: SRAM DUB Rims: XDS double wall Tyres: Maxxis Ardent 27.5x2.25 Hub Front: XDS Quick Release Hub Back: XDS Thru Axle Cassette: SRAM 12 Speed Disc Brake Front: Magura 180mm Disc Brake Back: Magura 160mm Brakes: MAGURA Royalblood Hydraulic Brakes Chain: KMC Chain 12 Speed Seatpost: With Pillar Alloy 31.6 Seatclamp: Quick Release Alloy Saddle: XDS Cable: XDS
