Narrow tires, pwede as long as sukat sa rims. Ang mas katanungan eh gano kanipis ang mabibili mong tire a and tubes locally.

nice bike! i'm actually tempted to get one just for the convenience of it being easy to stash in the trunk
i'd probably replace the drivetrain to 1x. other than that everything else can be stock

being new to this, i have to ask first, do you have spares already? if not i suggest invest on this first. get a saddle bag or whatever kit you desire that can carry spare tube applicable to your wheel (401 and 451 are differnt btw), lever, patch kit, multitool, missing link, pump (can be frame mounted) etc. don’t forget hydration. don’t forget the lights as well. it’s quite dark nowadays so i ride with rear lights on.
i own an old dahon folding but too pre-occupied with other things to consider ‘changing’ its parts (i’m not using the word upgrade)
for a folding, i’d go for a comfortable fit that is changing the seatpost, saddle and cockpit as your body requires.
as for the dropbar, personally i’m not a fan of it, but given your space issue, just make sure you can still fold it small. folding with a drop bar will definitely occupy more space no matter how you look at it. another consideration with the use of drop bars is it’s comaptibility with your brakes. most if not all folding use linear pull v while drops use dual pivot. i tend to go for dual pivot but not a fan of drop. there are solutions for this though.
skinny tires, why not as long as your rim can accomodate. i’m using a 401 durano.
i do agree to go 1x. i’d go for a mix of tiagra and 105. so far only tiagra has flatbar lever. but if you do go for a drop bar straight 105 will be great

wow ganda po ng folding bike ninyo Kung ako I might not change anything .... unless I will be using it for epic rides then papalitan ko yung brakes, transmission at drivetrain. As it is for daily commute and weekend cruising, ok na ang stock components. Lulumain ko na lang bago magpalit.
