Brief's can act like a supporter kung medyo masikip ng konti.... pero kung bacon na brief nyo,, pa-LUTO nyo na!!! Maglagay lang kayo ng Petrolium Jelly or any moisturizin' lotion sa singit, sa puwet at pati sa kuyukot and it will help you avoid all those chaffing and rushes. delikado kapag walang brief lalo na kapag natapat sa seksi.... halatang may masamang intensyon agad!!! hehehe!!!

nag pa "kapon" ako para swabe na ang pag pedal hehehehehe yan ang hardcore!!! hahahaha! biker preference nga to. might also be a case of over protection. i know people who wear briefs under their groin supporters. overkill na. be proud of your package. also, the vaseline is a good suggestion on those very long chaffing rides.

Team, The first time i wear a cycling short i wear brief, dyahi kasi ako kasi first timer Then on 3rd time i wear no brief. I feel the diffrence on that day, it was so light and comfy. BTW, be sure you wear a right size for your cycling short, right fit means it will hold your balls(opss our balls pala ;D ) secured .

I don't think you should coz you may get bruise marks on your "singit" after riding.
I don't myself.... its uneasy at first but you will definitely adjust to it and even feel more confortable.

I subscribe to what Bicycling Magazine said:
No underwear should be worn with bike shorts because the seams will score you like ropes.
Of course, if you're wearing baggies, that's a different story ;D

Used to ride wearing mountainbike shorts with briefs underneath.... but after a long ride, even the thinnest seams of your underwear felt like rough hemp during a whole-day ride. Now I use cycling shorts instead, it can serve as a swimming trunks too ;D

Kung magsuot din ng baggies, use tri shorts underneath It's a shorter version ng cycling short and less padding Yun pwede ng pang swimming , jogging cycling

Question dun sa right size ng cycling shorts..do LBS allow you guys to fit the thing? kasi di ba how would you know if it's the right fit sa ating balls, waist, etc.? Para naman dehins sayang yung bili mo? and what kind of cycling shorts do you guys recommend? ok na ba yung Anatomic? thanks in advance!

besides avoiding that rough feeling on long rides, is there any additional benefit to wearing cycling/tri shorts? e.g. added compression helps blood flow in your legs etc? quick drying material helps prevent that damp sensation?
btw, san makabili tri shorts and how much?

Marcs,
Yes added compression helps in performance. I think gilbs72 posted a link to a study showing how this works. But just to give you an idea, snug clothing helps performance by helping the blood flow better (something to do with the arteries and veins) and it keeps the muscles warm better and longer.
With regars to other benefits, well mud cannot get in and therefore doesn't accumulate on your ass crack or singit. And the materials used are quick drying so your eggs won't get all wrinkled and stuff. Hehe. And if you wear cotton briefs and go thru a river crossing during the colder months, I guarantee, your crotch will be cold till the end of the ride ;D

nag pa "kapon" ako para swabe na ang pag pedal hehehehehe hahaha. that was a good one. Me? sometimes i do, sometimes i don't and use boxer's instead but i use this over my cycling shorts, then Baggy shorts over it. Extra padding for but grinds.

Sa crosstrain ba yun? tabi ng allterra Get the Anatomic brand, 500 bucks If your gonna use it for swimming better na mag lagay ng drawstring ( i used a shoelace ) Kasi lalabas fwet mo if you dive headfirst sa pool hehe bad trip

Now I use cycling shorts instead, it can serve as a swimming trunks too ;D wow, this is how i feel as well. pero i'm wearing brief and cycling shorts and after a long ride, the lining of my underwear would start to irritate me as if i need to peel it off of my skin/butt every now and then. hmmm....masubukan ngang walang underwear.......

hmmm....masubukan ngang walang underwear....... Pare! I tell you, the feeling is different. I regulary ride with MTB shorts & cycling shorts underneath...but after the Hidden Valley swim I opted to ride with the cycling shorts only..... MAN! felt unhindered... what ever movement my leg want; CAN DO!

Me...no briefs, just put petroleum jelly around it, and the thighs near the groin, very comfortable, no irritating feelings.

i just stuff some bubblewrap inside my shorts and ride my bike .. its extra comfy so it makes me go extra big! thats my secret! try it! it works! altough sometimes the popping sound from the bubblewrap can get pretty annoying ..make sure to take a shower atleast once a day when doing such nasty things ..enjoy the ride! ride hard and ride safe! take chances!üü *a public service from paolo tan*
