No hands pedaling

The Giant bike has the hub aligned directly to the steerer tube, which might be affecting the handling. It will be a very responsive compared to the first bike with a fork rake.

Maybe for experiment purposes na rin, I'll try doing no-hands when I get home later. Switched -5 90mm stem to +7 32mm. We'll see if it's a factor.

Update!

It could just be me, but it feels unstable doing it on a shorter stem. Tried different gears, but every movement felt sensitive for the bike. I can still coast though, but I don't feel that confident doing it in the street. This calls for some practice.

Not that it changed the bike's geometry, but fwiw I had 2 spacers below the stem and 2 above when i had the 90mm stem, but I had all 4 below the stem this time.

one way to do it is padyak ka lang at a comfortable pace at about 20 kph. while seated, try getting your torso as upright as you can. tapos unti unti mula sa full grip go to palms only sa grips on both hands, tapos atras pa hanggang fingers only. kapag comfortable ka na, go with fingertips only, hanggang sa kaya mo nang bumitaw.

btw continue pedalling at a steady pace. tsaka mo na pag-aralan yung naka freewheel tapos no hands.

I do this no hander trick for fun on paved roads nga lang, sa uphill and downhill dehins pa, baka semplang aabutin ko,hehehe! have a great weekend ahead guys!
