brad, nabili mo na yan. no point in asking kung panalo, sulit o lugi. assuming tama ang sukat ng bike para sa 'yo, enjoy the ride na lang

I bought the same frame unused 2nd hand online for 6k. Installed deore 3x10 speed groupset, mavic 223 rims with novatec hubs and generic spokes, and maxxis ikon tires also unused 2nd hand. Cockpit is a combination of brand new and 2nd hand parts. Cost me maybe 30-35k including front and rear lights, q-bell, saddlebag, and other accessories. I dunno kung naka mura ka or what pero tama si anthrax76. Basta fit lang sayo ang bike mag e-enjoy kana. Mine is a little big so not that enjoyable off-road but good on flat, concrete, or asphalt road.

I think 20k for a brand new entry-level hard-tail Giant ATX mtb is just the right price. Now if you are asking if "lugi" ka or not, that will all depend on you hehehe. If you are riding and enjoying your newly bought bike then it means that every peso you spent on it is all worth it. Padyak lang ng padyak sir

ganito, compare mo yung presyo niya online, meron naman yan. btw, medyo tataasan mo ng konti pagdating sa local kasi may import duties and taxes na kasama yan.
check mo lang kung sakto nga yung parts na nakalista online vs. yung nabili mo. regarding sa pyesa, sino naman ang nagsabi sa 'yo? may kaya ba siyang i-offer na mas magandang bike for the same price?

incompletelyf, compared to other dealers selling giant, I would say you got your bike slightly higher, I saw your bike 2017 model at ironbike for 17k only AFAIK, Ironbike follows Giant's SRP. People have to be careful with Lazada because they will show a discounted price, but usually there is no basis for the SRP anyway. There are other brands cheaper than the Giant ATX 2 with similar spec but its really hard to see which is the best value. There are so many factors. Sometimes, you will see brands using a shimano shifter and derailleur but with using heavy generic cassettes--same goes with the front derailleur. Sometimes a bike might have better specs and better price than the giant ATX but the frame might be steel and super heavy (Giant is know for their lightweight Aluminium frames) or the tires maybe super heavy or the wheelset maybe super heavy. Giant is a good brand. They are the biggest manufacturer of bikes in the world. They produce so much of their own brand and they OEM for so many other brands. So brandwise you are ok with Giant. As anthrax76 would say strong, light and cheap--pick two. As for upgrades, there are so many to talk about but wheels are usually a good place to start since there is so much weight there and it is rotational weight. But before you start upgrading, you have to find out what sort of riding you want to do. Do you want 70% road and 30% trail. Do you want 100% trail--what kind of trail do you want? Is it gnarly technical single track or wide open cross country. The type of trail you like to ride or can ride will determine what type of tire you will need. So in summary, I will say the same as others have recommended--go ride your bike. Enjoy it, I am so sure you will have fun on it. Then do a research on the internet continue to ask questions here based on your experiences with riding your bikes. Also don't forget to learn the basic handling skills, that is the key to enjoyment. You can find a lot of that in youtube. Ride safe--don't do anything beyond your skill level, otherwise you will get hurt. The key is to take baby steps and ride your bike a lot.

www.giant-bicycles.com/us/atx-27dot5-2-2016$460 sa website nila for the 2016 model. Pa OT lang ha. Just want to know where to get sealed headset bearings for this model. Loose ball bearings kasi eto eh and I can't seem to find a sealed bearing that will fit the headtube. We don't have a specific store here na nag didistribute ng giant eh. Thanks!

No worries brad Most likely they do shipping, or at the very least is point you to a retailer there. Naikot ko na ang halos lahat ng LBS dito samin. Tatlo kaming may ATX na naghahanap eh. Kanya2 kaming hanap sa mga LBS sa area namin but no such luck. Anyway, will wait for their reply. Thanks again!
