There were quite a few riders who rode the indoor pump track clipped in. But for beginners like me I would feel safer on pedals. Besides, one of the reasons for my doing the pump tracks was to learn to move with the bike. I can't comment on the outdoor trail because all I rode was the kids trail with my son and the indoor pump track after that. But from the looks of it, walang problema kung naka clip ka rin doon sa outdoor trail.

i think walang bearing kung clipped in or not. the question is, can you pump confidently and continuously.

Here is a video of my son last dropping in Saturday. It was our first time to do it. I guess kids have more flexible bodies as he pumped it better than me.
I highly encourage bikers to try this out as it really a lot of fun. After Saturday, we couldn't stop thinking about the pump track so we went again on Sunday morning. My advice to beginners is to watch the flow first and ask the marshal for tips or instructions on what to do and what to watch out for.
It would also be good if you had elbow and knee pads as the asphalt is really rough. As far as exercise goes this really is a whole body work out.
Sayang I wasn't able to meet up with the PinoyMTBiker members who were there as I did not read this thread before going there. If you see a father and son with matching MET full face helmets, that's us. My son usually wears his push pants and moto jersey.

Was there from 6a - 9a. I didn't go to the indoor though. I circled the outdoor countless times... ... and since I'm on leave I 'might' be there tomorrow

spyghost, sayang nga I did not read PinoyMTBiker before going there. I will probably be back by Saturday or Sunday if my son gets better. He is currently sick right now and his mom is blaming me for it. Hay naku.

William is using a Merida MATTS J20. It's a 20" kids hardtail with 50mm of fork travel. He is 128cm--quite tall for a six year old. I am planning to upgrade him to a 24" bike in a year or so. I just hope the bigger and heavier bike will be okay for him to ride at the pump track still.
