there's an online calculator for bike fitting. riding a bike just won't do.

err...ano exactly yung hinahanap mo sa bike na yan?
it's a built bike, you pretty much can't change anything unless pumayag yung may-ari ng shop na mag swap out ng parts. If you're asking kung okey ang setup, galing na sa GT yan mismo, I'm pretty sure they did their research in putting the bike together.

I mean sir if this bike is good enough for newbies like me? matibay po ba mga parts nyan and is it a good buy? 20k po more or less ang price nya... or baka may mairerecommend po kayo na good bike shop in manila... pasensya na sir ha medyo madami akong tanong

GT is a trusted brand, they won't survive the market if they're not selling good bikes

wrong guy to ask, ha ha ha.
price wise, walang tatalo sa giant. dahil mura ang offer nila.
kaso...i'm a GT fan, mwe he he he. yun nga lang ang kunat ng frame ng GT. I enjoy the terrain feedback kaya okey lang sa akin kahit matagtag yung ride.

Based on the specs you just posted that's a lot of good parts for just 20k. I haven't seen a giant bike with those specs at that price point. Go get it!

Quick question, are you limited by those two options only?
again, you pretty much can't do anything since it's a built bike. 2 quirks i have with the revel are the derailleurs and the brakes. the Revel should be cheaper, heck you're getting entry level drivetrain there. you might also find it difficult to find replacement brake pads.

It looks like the GT Avalanche was a 2015 model on sale. You may want to look at other bike shops that might have similar deals for older models. Just ask what's on sale. I once saw a 2015 Trek full suspension bike for 80k only at BGC. Of course that did not last long. Ask around if you really want a deal like the GT one.
