Imitation is the best form of flattery, hence the re-launch of ORIGINAL BMC frames in the Philippines. For 2008, our BMC fullies come with the following > 5 year alum frame guarantee> VPS (Virtual Pivot System) technology > comes equipped with DT Swiss 190L rear shocks > SCC (Skeleton Crossloc Concept) tech allows for more rigid joints, shorter tubes, and longer welds. Take note of the intersection of the seat tube, seatstay, and top tube > Proprietary ultralite triple coned tubes (by Easton bebeh!) > Twistah legs for that light, stiff, and rigid rear end > Triple sealed Swiss bearings > High BB clearance design, so a size 15 approximates a size 16 > Easton tubing and Easton CNT on carbon parts Where: the usual suspects When: March 25, 2008 What: BMC Fourstroke 03 (100mm) BMC Trailfox 03 (120mm) BMC Supertrail (140mm) BMC Streetfire SSX (road)

anshwa, tenks tenks brad yukon, to be carried by the usual suspects pards jon, tricky question hehehe. yup (VPP) but its proprietary so there is no add on cost to the frame, i.e. no royalties. All things being equal (or ceteris paribus....tama ba economics ko Answha?), styling becomes a factor as well as the value-added such as the skeleton frame and DT Swiss rear shock, and 5 year frame guarantee

jessie, meron naman dati but they concentrated on the high-end stuff and sold some fabricated lower end models (in other words, japake hardtails) Supertrail is ok, longer travel. The fast selling one now is the road frame ssx.

Are the Bikes featured made in Europe or are they Taiwan made ? Is there any plan of bringing in the pro level road frames ( since these are what BMC is better known for ) specifically the TT models /Time machine 2 ?

leo > Country of make and origin remain mixed. Some aluminium components are made in Taiwan (Easton), while the carbon components are made by Easton. Regardless, these all go through the same stringent quality inspection and throughput (quality and quantity) before receiving a stamp of approval....just like a Swiss swatch, este watch pala. Due to sizing, color and year model opportunities, the pro, cross, and time models will remain by dealer preference. For ogling purposes however, the SLs, SLTs, SSXs, Elites are due to arrive on May. These incoming models share most of the perfected technology gained from SLCs in the pro tour. The logistics have been ironed out such that an indent order (if applicable) will take only seven days to a max of 2 weeks.
