I hope no one's gonna post here that they now have a stock of fuel ex series, so as not to confuse our fafa rocky ;D I dont think so Kintaro, My friend just came in 2 days back and he made suyod and call al the shops in, around and even in another state ( He is in Texas) looking for this frame. I met the Trek (Dubai) owner last night near Emirates palace hotel and he said he cant get a hold of it too.

Perhaps he can make arrangement for you, his place is not that far in Pinas. Thus, the shipment charge won't be that high compare if the frame will be coming from USA.

Kintaro, We talked to the owner of Trek Dubai itself and I dont think he will let this sale pass. a sale is a sale and people are willing to pay that 300usd airfreight. It's not availeble yet. My guess is March it will be out. BTW, I used to work for Trek middle east.

Congrats sir rocky on your Epi! Oks na oks yan, mga naka epi ang laging nangiiwan sa akin pababa ng upak..hehehe.. Teka. teka. Lucasvn. Ellsworth Epiphany has not arrived and is on its way being delivered yet. Promised delivery will be for this Friday...Feb 1st. For the meantime, Sir Goyo of Bike Cyclery promised to show us a spanking brand new 2008 Ibis Mojo frame tomorrow, size small, ready to be assembled in a moment's notice. I will check Ibis Mojo out and see how we will pick up from there? Frankly, I am smitten by both Ellsworth Epiphany and Ibis Mojo. I score it 50/50 as to which bike to choose. Since I can't seem to make up my mind? And I can't afford to buy both. Right now, as I speak, I am conducting a random survey amongst dozens of PinoyMTBiker shoutbox idols which of two bikes they will choose if they were me? Responses I've been getting and insights I have been receiving show how experienced and knowlegeable we all are. I am making my choice between Ibis Mojo and Ellsworth Epiphany pending result of voting cast. I will buy whichever majority chooses.

Oh, I see.... btw, speaking of carbon frames, Have you tried or seen the Tomac Carbide XC Carbon? Sabak have a demo unit that you can try. A friend of mine, want first a Specialized Stumpjumper pro carbon, but the delivery was also late and one morning he tried the demo unit and in the afternoon, he ordered and later in the afternoon it is already being build... he is now a very proud owner of Tomac Carbide XC. Sorry if I will add in the confusion..heheheh Charles

Rocky, You know what's important? Whatever you choose, the most important thing is that you'll finally be able to ride your bike. That's why we buy bikes in the first place... To ride the trails! Good luck!

OT... @ Sir Rocky the mojo the epiphany the moment you laid your eyes in each, one will reach out to you and speak the language that you alone will understand, you will feel the tugging inside you, and your heart will skip a beat. as if youre seeing for the first time your newborn child, as if suddenly youre in front of a mirror that the only words that will come out from your lips will be... this is me.. and from that moment on you will know which is which...

Dear MountG: I am left with no choice but to get a longer travel/light rig ...Jon. At the rate I find myself wandering and making butas trails of Norzagaray, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan (Monday-Friday), comfort is the key to all day excursions I do. EeeWww. So ian mojix was the Mindoro gentleman farmer Marcial (the mechanic) of Sabak Mkti alluded to as recent Epiphany owner. Marcial cited Epiphany owners from as far south as Davao too. "Hello PinoyMTBiker Davao peepz. Hello. Hello. Hello." Dear palawaneagle, Thanks for welcoming my new baby to our last hidden frontier. Soon. Very soon...atty. Epiphany will root itself to our beloved ancestral ground. Hydrating ourselves with newly picked buko sweet juices from trees towering above our heads, and carbo-loading on freshly caught fishes steaming hot live from red charcoals, while sprawled on silkiest white beaches of Palawan watching the sun go down after a hard day's epic ride, let us do it ... tangay. Conversation will be in pure Cuyonon too. that's right fafa rocky. licao has lots of trails to offer but the problem is you need to look for it. ;D paul and i have been doing some exploring and all i can say is that i'll never use my XC rig in licao, hehehe ;D. i heard a tsismis.......paul is giving up his NRS for a longer traveled bike, hehehe ;D. right now paul is technically proficient. giving him something beefier will really make things more interesting, hehehe ;D.

Rocky, Sorry to hear that you are loosing patience on your EX. I pm them today and had a quick response from trek support. Here what they said.
Felipe, The EX bikes are currently shipping. There are a lot of back orders on this bike. Your local dealer will have the most accurate information on this bike for you. Ride Hard, Karl

The following question/comment was submitted from your knowledgebase -----------------------------------------------------
From: Felipe <frullamas@xxx.com> Hi, What is the lead time getting the EX 9.5 frame? I have friends been waiting to own this bike but so far the dealer could not promise them the date.

Gentlemen:
Voting precints are closed as of 0800 today.
29 PinoyMTBiker shoutbox geeks were PMed and asked which trail bike will they choose for me because I can't seem to make up my mind whom to bring home?
1. Ibis Mojo or 2. Ellsworth Epiphany
24 corresponded back.
Results of voting are as follows:
Ibis Mojo = 14
Ellsworth Epiphany = 10
I will be visiting Sir Goyo's Bike Cyclery later this afternoon. Hopefully, before leaving his barn, I am riding out on a fully assembled ready to roll tuned-up Ibis Mojo?
Thanks PinoyMTBikers for helping me decide which bike to bring home. You are all so willing to help fellow biker in distress.
