hehe, its about time. the only thing that keeps SID going in world cup races is the skill of the rider and that's just plain difficult for us mortals. 32mm stanchions is the way to go. and for the first time, rockshox will be using postmounts. way to go!

To me looks more like a Judy fork and the blue color does not appeal to me they should do a more trendy colours that blue is like old skool.

Well since were on the topic of old school did you know that pro's have been using an old school of sorts SID lately? MTBR Topic: Julien Absalon's SID looks pure retro the new ones looks to be more stiff though with the 32mm stanchions.and i think its gonna weigh just a lil bit more over the current SID's since they emptied the bottom of the legs.

Looks ugly in those colors. I'm a real Rock Shox fan and I certainly hope they'll have more colors than that.

judy forks model has been replaced by a new model fork called "dart" as per fork production of rockshox is concerned...if that the case, well perhaps your judy fork will be priceless...

FWIW, SID blue is back in force, but Rock Shox plans to offer "nine or ten" different colors & production will ramp up in February. Pricing isn't still set yet.
It's been all over the news that the new platform features 32mm diameter 7000-series aluminum stanchions, a forged Al-66TV crown, and cast magnesium lowers that are said to contain enough material to make two sets of SID lowers. The lowers are heavily braced not only in the arch area, but also around the lower bushings where a pair of 'Power Bulge[/b]' reinforcements combat bushing slop and increase overall chassis stiffness.

Just updating... Posting up for the forx that could have been my choice in replacin' my ailing Reba. But with only ca. 200 grams WS went with other viable options... Bigger WS than just 200 being offered by this lovely forx! Now, the colored sid race & team!!! more pics and all colors of the new sid! I'd say, yummy eye-candies! LoL! But how much would they cost once they reach us here¿?¿

FWIW Rock Shox plans to offer " nine or ten" different colors & production will ramp up in February. Pricing isn't still set yet. ... So basically there's white like Fox line-up... And for the WC series, it's not only baby blue... All right! Round 'em up, boys!!! For the picking!

bikemag.com/news/freshproduce/SRAM_reba_otter_preview/"Expect a slew of different color options on SRAM bits this year. The SID alone is supposed to have 24 different color combinations. Avid Juicy Ultimate disc brakes have been floating around since Interbike in a very limited white color, so we'd expect to see more white treatment this spring. SRAM also gave us a sneak peak at the Juicy Ultimates in the bright blue hue shown here, which should be available to purchase some time in '08."
