Here's the King himself!____________________________________________________________________________________________From my bike paparazzi chums, the elusive Chris King made an appearance at the Dirt Demo with a display of his goods. They still don't exhibit at the trade show so this was a rare encounter. Latest item up for them: 1.5" headsets. Still clueless on the bottom bracket concept... www.chrisking.com

What makes this Chris King so expensive?
Well aside from being made from titanium, this is probably the last headset you'll own, unless you switched to a 1.5" head tube frame. Coz CK are practically indestructible.

dumb question: what the difference between CK headsets and other headsets? i mean... is there really a big difference between them? this has been on my mind for some time now... well, my first Chris King is still a Chris King after almost 5 years. Nothing has been replaced yet. It's almost halfway na sa 10 years warranty.

Not only that. They also encourage their employees to bike-to-work by giving incentives like free-meal, year-end additional bonuses (depends on how long you've riden in a year), etc. They also go on a short ride during lunch breaks.

Personally, I have not trashed any name brand orig headset yet (FSA, CC, RF, etc) except the non-sealed aheadsets (which are useless anyway). So justifying a CK is a bit hard. But since I got one.... I want more. Mwahahaha. Its your fault Alphabolt!!!! I'm becoming a CK collector like you.
