The Mono6ti has been developed to be the ultimate in braking technology.
It is first bicycle disc brake to feature titanium pistons fitted into a state of the art 6 piston, one-piece caliper.
Titanium, as well as being light and very durable, is one of the best materials for insulating the caliper from the heat generated in the pads and disc.
The pistons are also coated with titanium nitride to reduce friction with the seals. The single design of caliper uses different brackets to fit current frames and forks. It also uses the Mini lever.

It's no longer using titanium pistons. Stainless now....same as the mono M4s. now a post mount design. They are about 2K more than the M4 per side.

I currently have a pair of these babies front & rear. I have the '06 with Phenolic (Thermoplastic) pistons rather than the older titanium ones. My set came with 203mm floating calipers as well as stainless steel brakelines. These came with DOT 4 brakefluid but immediately changed it with Motul's RBF 600 DOT 4 rated for up to 600 degrees fahrenheit.
These brakes does not have the ultimate stopping power as that goes to the Magura Gustavs. Modulation wise, these brakes are the best! I accidentally pressed the lever and I literally saw that the 6 pistons does not engage all at once but rather in succession.
Bombing down long and steep trails is just confidence inspiring as it encourages you to do very late single finger braking with supreme modulation / feel so you can have less lock-up and more stability specially in the corners. I never experienced brake pump / fade which I did with my Hayes HFX brakes. Even after a very long downhill run, I can still touch the inner portion of the floating brake rotor. The calipers also does not heat up as much as the hayes which means that those phenolic pistons are indeed working.
I got a deal from Monk a Moo for $500 + $15 shipping for the front and rear.

I'm not sure if it's the best deal out there but it definitely is a steal here because these are selling for $375 per side.
How much is it there in Pesos?

does anyone sell it there in the philippines? are there available parts for it like brake pads, bleed kits etc? is it a popular brake there?
anyway, that last picture of the mono 6 with the ventilated floating rotor is just sweet! it blends with the overall overkill look. it's not only crossdrilled but ventilated as well.
also the rotors looks thicker than the original cross-drilled only floating rotors. this could be a good upgrade for me
