images and info are from sicklines.comcyclingnews.compersonally, i'm not too impressed. especially with that enduro seriously. i look at the previous enduros and i see a mean machine. now it looks weak rocker links? here's the [ahem] new stumpjumper FSR nothing much has changed geometrically LOTS OF PROPRIETARY STUFF. they call it "total suspension integration" the DEMOnow this is a bike and let's not forget the epicand i think i saw some p.bikes and hardtails too and new shades and shoes and tires

nice to know that there are hardly any changes to the stumpy. pretty hard to get a step up on.

they claim that the new enduro climbs just as well as the stumpjumper but descends better
still don't like how it looks. but if they opted for the rocker link then there must be something about rocker links

Mixed emotions on their new approach of manufacturing their own suspension shocks and forks.

you know what guys... looking at those spez makin me think, just maybe, gary turner of GT is their main designer? i cant help but compare the stumpjumper ht to a 1985 pro performer bmx (because of how its down tube meet with the headtube) & the design of the new spez enduro is like the 1988 pro performer bmx (cuz how the down tube gets bended before it meets with the seat tube) ... just my thoughts lang naman... i guess, i bought my sj ht because it reminiscent of my gt pro performer bmx kasi... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D hehehe.... maybe GT was ahead of its time... ? it shows how long you've been on the road brad, hehehe, just kidding miss u na james kulet! nice of you to share that... i couldve agree with you them being ahead of their time

how light? lighter than the stumpy aluminum? If Nono has ridden anything close to this type spec'd with almost exact parts as shown here... Enduro SL weighs a measly 27lbs! Not bad for a 6 x 6 AM rig!!! They call their fork E150 fork... Verbatim (MBA-Oct 06): To Specialized, control is predictability. Their feeling is that flex must be eliminated to achieve control & make suspension work as an extension of the rider's body. So Specialized designed the six-inch travel FutureShock E150 fork to meet those requirements (requirements Specialized claims could not be met by any existing fork available to them).
By employing a dual triple-clamp design, they feel the E150 can be both lighter & stiffer than a single-crown fork of the same amount of travel. Don't be fooled into thinking this suspension is manufactured by another company, with Specialized decals simply slapped on the fork & shock. Not true. Specialized has set up their own dedicated facility in Taiwan to produce the fork (& shock).
