Ah the bow series of corratec, this is an interesting frame because throughout the size range (Small to XL) of the bike the frame geometry and measurements are the same except for the length of the seat tube...these are built pretty long though.

I think it's a Roadie MTB. European Technology just like the BIXS but their forte is light riding.
The model in the picture is the SUPER BOW TEAM WC WITH FF. SPECS: Model Super Bow team WC Framework corratec Bow technology patented, from 7005 aluminum
Fork Skirt Shox Reba team, 85 mm Switching device Shimano XTR FD/RD: Shimano XTR Shift lever Shimano XTR Brake lever Shimano XTR Brakes Shimano XTR Crank set zzyzx carbon Interior camp FSA Pedals zzyzx Cartridge Shimano XTR 11-32 Chain Shimano XTR Hubs zzyzx CL 91, CL 32 24/24 Rim zzyzx CROSS Attack Disc white Tire corratec Grip master Lite 26 x 1.95 Hose corratec Spokes DT Competition 2.0/1.8 black Control item FSA Porch zzyzx 7. 1 1/8", oversize Steering wheel zzyzx Grasps corratec Screw LOCK Saddle bracket zzyzx Saddle Selle Italia XR Light Saddle clamp zzyzx
no weight info: definitely light
but like the BIXS it did not make it to the US and Asian Market ( not really, just a few maybe ), unless this 2008 there will be changes.

had the chance to meet the man who owns Corratec bikes, a burly german married to a mindorena, while camping out with my daughter about 2 years ago. His is the lightest ht mtb i've ever laid my hands on- the team"-only"-issue (you need UCI points to get to own/ride one, according to him and of course has to be a corratec team member) titanium Bow-ti. Definitely sub 20pds, maybe in the 15-17 pd range. Blinged out to the max but definitely ridden hard! Dunno if t'was brought back to germany or left hanging in his house two towns from here. An awesome racing rig indeed!

Titanium Bow-Ti? wasn't that one of the old, classic Ibis models?

Titanium Bow-Ti? wasn't that one of the old, classic Ibis models? no sir, it's not THE Bow-Ti , the pivot-less/linkage-less 5in travel Fox vanilla air suspended titanium wonder that hall of famer Scot Nicol (same guy that came up with the Szazbo and the 2.9lb ti Mojo and another model with a one-off "THE HAND" brake cable stop at the rear end) designed and rolled out in '96 costing $3,699.oo for the frame alone. It's A Corratec. A Bow frame. And titanium to boot. Hand carried from germany by the man who owns Corratec himself.
