Hey girls! I'll buy that frame in a heartbeat! In fact, I'll start saving up for it. I hope I won't run out of the medium frames in Quiapo. I just love the fact that it's light!!! Yahoo!!!!! Crazy Bruce ! ;D ;D so most P M T B riders ( we hope you, jtbul, respect some of the personalities as being with credibility) know that the sinuperlight's a "lemon" (meaning its panget in design and function and even downright dangerous) weigh their opinions vs your opinion .... think about it Stop! No need to think ! seriously, It s a no brainer brad peace Unless you already bought one...and need to continue justifying it to yourself...go and indulge yourself, its your frame So you know...should anything happen to you on the trails ... most probably the person(s) helping you are members of P M T B anyway hahaha! arnel, bruce is not crazy...sarcastic! i think thats the word. ;D

Peeps: Nope I never bought the sinurperlight! Although I might sound like antagonistic I jsut wanted to solicite moer comments as possible on the frame. As confirmed this frame is a big yellow " lemon" and it shows in most of the comment received in this thread. Now I have a new frame to look at...the KHS FS frame that jane showed me at guess the price....it's less than 15K! shall we start a thread about the frame? as long as it's not fake you can try searching 1st before posting....... KHS is a known brand btw.......... ;D

Another evidence that we should not buy this fake frame. period. What if this breaks down when you are 40kph around upak when it snaps? ? Good thing nothing serious happened to the rider and do no wait to happen this to you....

its possible that this might just be an isolated case for this frame. and the guy that was using it is more than 200lbs++ i assume. so he might be too heavy for the frame.
hahahahah!!!! just kiddin. glad he was not hurt. and i hope those who are using this frame right now doesnt get hurt if isht like that happens to them. wait, i hope they dont wait til it happens to them pa. get rid of it i say!

Lots of these fake frames in Quiapo,IMHO,they must at least label these frames not to use for Trail riding, very dangerous.Just imagine yourself decending down the trails....then it snap!

Looking at the broken tubing , I think that frame really sucks ! I hope the rider is OK , and I guess would now probably opt for better built frames.
Unfortunately IMO this frame seems to dazzle and victimize newbies and perhaps gives them some sort of misconceived notion that , you get some sort of prestige with it or a affordable way to FS.
Hopefully those who are still riding these potential injury/death trap frames come to their senses and break them (render them unusable instead of selling them to another sucker) .

I'm not sure what to say, but IMO, we should not purchase fakes as we could be in trouble once a scenario like this happens.

I just want to share this one with you guys...One of our riding buddies in TEAM SOUTH DISCOVERY was using a SUPERLIGHT STA. CRUZ frame. Last monday, we rode the Sta. Rosa upak trail going to Tagaytay. Before reaching Tagaytay, his sta. cruz frame started wobbling. He really didn't have any other choice but to ride it all the way back to Sta. Rosa. To cut the story short, he almost didnot made it back. The frame's swing arm broke. He could have a serious injury if he fell from the bike, considering that it was downwards from tagaytay to sta. rosa. Luckily he was able to get down on both feet when it broke down, and he was just a few meters away from paseo de sta. rosa.
Don't buy immitation STA CRUZ SUPERLIGHT frames. Don't compomise your safety!

So that's the same bike that I saw being given the heave ho at Ross Cycle. Caveat Emptor indeed. This is a clear warning that we shouldn't be buying those bootleg frames. Translation: sa gamot lang uubra ang generic! @ Rocketman, What about that dh frame of yours that developed an ejecting seat mast? Oh wait, I was the one who wrote the JRA letter for that. Hehehehe

On the Go bike event yesterday (Diabetes ride) I saw one of these frames being ridden. i'm not sure if it still has the stock bushings or modified with bearings on the pivot point. but it's flexing left and right every pedal stroke. and the rider is not even climbing, just your regular flat road.
i've seen URT's perform better than this
